Long day but worth it - Pick up from hotel was seamless with water available in an air condition car. Our guide Alex, was knowledgeable and his English was very good. He was always smiling and laughing. The trip was quite humbling and reflective but very informative and interesting. There was an issue with the car on our return but it was rectified relatively quickly. We would recommend Alex and this tour but it is 2.5 hours from Bangkok so be prepared for that.

Traveling with littles - We went with Tum Tum and had an excellent trip! She was very knowledgeable and gave us the perfect amount of time at each stop! We traveled with two kids, 3 and under. For those traveling with young kids, be aware that it is a long drive there and back, but it was worth it to us to see the sites. They break up the drive there with a little gas stop visit. We drove all the way back in one go because both kids fell asleep! Our 3 year old loved the train ride and crossing the bridge, even though she didn't understand the historical significance of it all. The lunch spot was great, too. Overall a perfect day!!

A marvellous trip to an evocative place in world war history - This is the first time I was going on a day-long guided trip and I was not sure what to expect. At the end of the day, it turns out to be a pleasant surprise and a marvellous experience. The logistics were planned to the minute as the team started interacting with me the previous evening. I was picked from my hotel in Bangkok city centre and dropped here in the evening. We visited all the locations as our guide nicknamed Apple explained the essential details of the locations. Of course, the most evocative was the Commonwealth Cemetery where the Allies POWs are buried who died during the construction of the Burma-Siam rail. This is another brutal example of futility of war. We had amazing lunch on a floating restaurant on the river Khwae Noi. As per my request, they had prepared vegetarian dishes. And then the mist came over the wooded hills as we drove back through lovely rain. A perfect day where I could not have asked for more. I would give full rating to the Team and hope to join you again soon. Nirdesh Singh India

Lots of driving and almost no explaining of the sites - It's a full day trip with a lot of driving on a fairly good highway. The tour guide didn't give any explanations of the sites, what they meant, other than a one-minute talk at the cemetery. She wasn't even with us one most of the drive there or back. The last attraction was not a cave, it was a waterfall in a national park (which was nice, but not the tour I bought).
