Sary Mogul - The path from Tulpar-Kol Lake to Tuyuk Canyon is a hidden treasure for trekkers in the Alay Valley. This trail offers solitude and pristine landscapes, along with some of the best views of Peak Estonia (6,202 m) and Peak Latvia (6,134 m), two impressive peaks in the Zaalaysky Range.
Trail to Tuyuk Canyon:
There are two options: through Peak Panorama (4 hours up and down, moderate level) and along the lakeside with a road (2 hours, easy hiking).

Sary-Mogol via Sary-Mogol Pass to Yurt Camp
Alay Mountains - Continue trekking in the northern range of the Alay Valley (Trans-Alay). From Sary-Mogol, drive to the trailhead (1 hour), then begin trekking. This challenging trek ascends to the Sary-Mogol Pass (4270 meters) and Besh-Kol Lake. The daily route involves 6-8 hours of walking on rocky paths. At the pass’s summit, enjoy the breathtaking views of Besh-Kol Lakes, then continue to the other side until reaching the yurt camp.

Walk to Koshmoinok
Alay Mountains - Head east, following the river and slightly descending to the end of the beautiful mountain gorge. Enjoy magnificent views of the Kichik Alay or Trans Alay mountain range. Initially, cross a small village under Sary-Mogol, then turn right onto a dirt road. After 2-3 hours, reach the small village of Kyzyl-Chara and stop for lunch at a homestay or café along the way, then continue to the yurt camp in Koshmoinok.

Koshmoinok to Kozho-Kelen Village, then Transfer to Jiptic Yurt Camp
Alay Mountains - Begin the next day of trekking on the slopes of the beautiful Cretaceous mountains of Kichik-Alay. Cross the Sary-Bel Pass (3150m) with stunning rocks and amazing natural views. After descending to Kojo-Kelen, take a short break at a local home for a refreshing shower and tea, providing a chance to relax and recharge. Following this, a local driver will transfer you to a yurt camp near the base of Jiptik Pass, offering a well-explored and thoughtfully planned option for your journey.
Accommodation: Yurt (shared beds) with simple and flush toilets.

Meals: Lunch on the way and dinner prepared by yurt owners.

Jiptik Yurt Camp to Sary-Mogol
Alay Mountains - After breakfast, continue the trek to the top of the “Jiptik” pass and cross it by noon (4185 asl). If the sky is clear, enjoy a stunning view of the Pamir-Alay Valley with Lenin Peak (7134). At the top, have lunch and take photos. After soaking in the breathtaking scenery, descend towards Darbaza-Tash, traversing picturesque landscapes. Upon reaching Darbaza-Tash, a transfer will take you to Sary-Mogol.
Accommodation: Guesthouse (Alay Travel House). Rooms have double, twin, and single beds with hot showers and running water toilets.

In the Alai Valley, the starting altitude is 2,500 meters, quickly ascending to greater heights. Due to the elevation, this hike is recommended for individuals in moderate physical condition. The route features two demanding passes, Sary-Mogol Pass (4,280 m) and Jiptik Pass (4,185 m), with daily treks lasting 5–6 hours.

- Around Tulpar-Kol, there are several short, hour-long trekking routes without high passes, allowing participants to naturally acclimatize before embarking on the main trek.
- Tulpar-Kol provides reliable connections and internet access, crucial for safety. If anyone feels unwell or experiences mountain sickness, immediate transport by car is available.
- The first 3 days are accessible to all categories of people and cars, when the trek starts there are no car road. When tourists are at Tulpar-Kol if after 2 days they have good acclimatization then they can continue trekking if not then they can go back to Osh or along other routes
