Literary history of Key West - Nancy Warren was an excellent guide. She was knowledgeable and personable. She related many interesting tales of the many interesting authors and other "characters" who have lived in Key West, including photographs of them.

A great mix of literary and Key West history! - What a great tour. A wonderful literary lens to see Key West through. Scott, our very knowledgeable and articulate tour guide led us on a 90 minute walking tour that covered the known and lesser known literary greats that have graced the island over the years. From Hemingway and Williams to James Merrill, Elizabeth Bishop, and Key West's own Judy Blume, among others. A delightful way to spend a Sunday morning, and I learned a lot. The tour is a great mix of literary and Key West history with a bit of island legend and lore, all while strolling around Old Town. Scott our guide was top notch. Highly recommend to all.

Who knew Key West had so much literary history! - Guide was very informative! He said he would send us some info, I'll enjoy revisiting the memory from that.
Lots of Key West history that I wouldn't have known otherwise.

Absolutely amazing look of Key West with a fantastic tour guide! - This is one of the most interesting, fun and engaging tours I have ever taken. Scott is one of the most fantastic speakers/presenters I've seen. He is fluid, conversational, funny and warm, and he pays close attention to his audience. I was so surprised to hear about the writers who lived/live in Key West -- Ellison! Hersey! Shel Silverstein! I absolutely loved this tour!! I cannot recommend it enough.

Excellent tour of Key West highlighting history and authors of the area - My daughter and I attended this tour and thoroughly enjoyed it. Our guide was very knowledgeable and we learned a great deal about the authors and writers who lived in and worked in Key West. We are both history and literature enthusiasts and this was one of the highlights of our first visit to Key West!

Educational and a Nice Stroll - The Key West Literary Seminar Literary Walking Tour was a lovely and enjoyable experience. Our guide was Scott who was not only informative but always made sure to ask if we had any questions along the way. Our group was small which made it easy to hear what was being said and I believe made it possible to get more out of the tour than if we had been a large group. I highly recommend this tour to anyone with an interest in the literary history of Key West and I would take the tour again.

Be in the know! - I enjoyed learning loads of literary history and drama, anchored in sights around town. The guide maneuvered the challenges of narrating tales in a loud, lively city quite well, and, after the tour, we were able to point to familiar buildings and be like, “That’s where Hemingway started A Farewell to Arms!” It adds a wonderful layer of significance into a beautiful city.
