Those born after January 1, 1988, are required to pass a Florida Boaters Safety test.
This test does come with a fee (see the Exclusions section for details), and participants should plan to arrive an hour ahead of time,
A Credit Card and valid I.D. are required for deposit purposes.

The only fee associated with this is detailed in the Exclusions section, and participants are free to retake the test as often as they wish. The resulting license is valid for one year.
