You will experience the quietest wildlife viewing boat in the keys while we head out on the water to an area that provides a year-round home for over 200 wild Bottlenose Dolphins. We share the wonders of these marine mammals with you, while always operating our vessel in a manner that is safe and respectful. With the right know-how, we can usually find dolphins in under an hour and in calm waters. After observing the dolphin’s many different behaviors from the boat we will head to one of our favorite spots to snorkel with sponges, coral heads, or reef. We will take you to the best place with the best visibility that day. Your mate will be your guide, leading you around a calm snorkeling spot and pointing out animals that make our ecosystem unique, and answering any questions that you have. We do not issue refunds if you miss the boat. It is best to ride a bike in Key West or take a cab. The marinas parking lot is not included. It can fill up in the afternoons please plan accordingly! Boarding time is 15 minutes before departure. Please be on time. Thank you! We do not issue refunds if you miss the boat. You will find the boat, Squid, at the bottom of the steps of the Waterfront Brewery. We are docked right in front of the yellow public restrooms building.

Review of Honest Eco Guided Snorkeling, Dolphin Watch and Sand Bar fun - We went on the morning 4 hr trip to go snorkeling, then went to a sandbar in the middle of the Gulf and anchored, got to get out and hang out in the sandbar (waist deep water at that time) while there were other party boats around also enjoying the day! Then on the way back they took us to an area to see some dolphins playing. The crew: Captain Kristen and Marine / snorkeling guide, Heather were GREAT. They both really new their stuff and were super friendly and helpful. Made everyone feel comfortable and had fun with us! Great experience all around!!

Not the trip we booked,... - Not the trip we booked, but any day on a boat is a good day! There weren’t enough folks signed up for the afternoon on the Squid, so the team was great about communicating our options and we were able to join the afternoon snorkel, sandbar and sunset on the Blue Q catamaran. Dan and Heather were a wonderful crew and took amazing care of the 6 of us on the trip. The Blue Q is a beautiful boat and easy to get in and off with the center ladder. The fresh fruit was the perfect snack. Again, it wasn’t the trip we planned, but Dan and Heather made it the trip we needed.

Amazing experience in Key West - We had a great time, captain Chase was super knowledgeable and kind. We saw lots of fish and dolphins. Being in a small group really makes a difference, I highly recommend this activity to anyone visiting Key West!! Thanks again :)

Amazing day with dolphins, baby sharks, turtles and rays. - Amazing day ! We were only 6 on the boat, We were lucky to see plenty of dolphins hanging out very close to the boat, we saw baby sharks, turtles even rays ! Kristin and Courtney were the best explaining the wildlife in the keys, always respectful with the animals. The boat the company built was perfect for shallow water. I would definitly recommend Honest Eco Tour if you want a respectul approach of the environment and wildlife. I will never forget this day.

Do this! - Epic! Highly recommend. They know exactly where to go for the coolest dolphin experience and snorkeling in Key West! Not to mention I loved the knowledge share from the biologist. Their snacks and everything they did was eco friendly which was a huge plus.

Great dolphin and snorkeling - The team is so wonderful and actually pointed out the wildlife while we were snorkeling. The fresh cold fruit and veggies was awesome after a good snorkel. We saw so many dolphins, even babies, and the turtles just floating by were amazing.

Great trip, Dolphins in the wild - amazing! - We had a super trip with Patrick and Courtney. We were lucky enough to see a pod of 7 Dolphin hunting and then relaxing with each other. The snorkelling site was fun with plenty of fish to see. Our visit to the sandbar was fun, although the high tide made it waist high as opposed to knee high, but that’s just the way things go with timings.
Patrick and Courtney looked after us and ensured we all had a great time, answering any questions we had as well as preparing some delis ious snacks.
Overall a great trip- lots of fun.

Dolphin watching & them snorkeling - Highly recommend. Traveling with family, kids are teenagers & we all thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. We learned a lot too. Saw dolphins in their natural habitat & then went snorkeling & saw a wide variety of marine life. Guides were helpful & very conscientious of keeping everyone safe. Extra bonus was the delicious, healthy snacks we enjoyed during & after the tour.

Repeat customer talking about a repeat fantastic performance by Honest Eco! - This was our THIRD trip with Honest Eco, our first on the ship Squid. We had THE BEST time. Our crew (Andrew and Sam) were approachable, knowledgeable, and helpful. This company is clearly very respectful of the Key West ecosytem. We saw SO many dolphins who came very close to our boat, without us baiting the waters. They were so close, we could have touched them - we could even hear them talking to one another. The guided snorkel was also fun (saw nurse sharks and SO many different types of fish), and the sand bar was the perfect way to relax at the end of the trip. I will 100% recommend HonestEco (and have!) to my friends and family. We will also be back for more tours in the future. You'll be SO glad you booked with them!!

Unreal experience - 10 year anniversary trip started horribly. But this trip on the squid with Sam and her female captain made the trip. Worth while and turned it around. Wife loved every second. The crew very friendly and informative.
