Great tour! - We took this tour last week and had Sara as our guide. It was incredible- Sara was super knowledgeable and fun. She really made the tour everything it was and had such a knack for explaining how all the flora and fauna are connected. It was super interesting! We were lucky enough to see a bear at the end of the tour which just made my whole trip. I am so glad we did this tour!!!

Thank you Ella for a memorable tour. - This is a must do excursion when visiting Ketchikan! Ella was our guide who was very knowledgeable about the Tongas National Rainforest. She took us on an educational walk through a beautiful area of the world. We didn’t see any bears, but seen a bald eagle waiting to catch some salmon. The end was seeing the amazing totem poles that are indigenous to Ketchikan. Next time I would include going zip lining too. Looked like fun.

Great Walk in the Forest - Nice walk through the forest with our guide, Ella, telling us about the plants and other information about the forest. We also saw a fish hatchery and totem pole carving. We saw many eagles waiting to catch fish in the river. We were very lucky that we also saw a momma bear and her 2 cubs. So amazing!

Interesting and Enjoyable - We took this trip with Kawanti Adventures and it was conducted in a professional manner. The vehicles used were in excellent condition and we were very comfortable. Elizabeth, our guide through the rainforest was very knowledgeable and a joy to interact with. I would rate the walk through the rainforest as easy with solid surfaces allowing for the use of a wheelchair or walking cane. We were fortunate to see 2 black bears, the highlight of the adventure for me.
