The soft sunlight lends the calm water a new enchantment as the palms on both shores welcome you with a gentle whisper in the wind. While on the cruise, enjoy local Kerala food, served on a banana leaf for lunch, and traditional Kerala snacks in the evening, such as banana fritters and sukhiyan.

Wonderful Experience - We had an amazing and very relaxing time - the food was also incredible.
Just a couple of things to note, that we didn't know would happen and could catch people out - you are taken off the boat when docked for the night to buy shellfish for dinner (at your own cost but worth it) also the staff do stay on the boat with you overnight - these did not affect our experience and we had a wonderful time, and have already recommended to friends and family!

Kerala backwaters - It was a comfortable and relaxing holiday on the houseboat. Our driver Vipin was polite and helpful and always on time. Overall a very satisfying experience.

Nice place to visit - This is our first time visiting kerala and our trip is amazing and the driver Mr shijo is really nice person ever time is very punctual,and he know everything will come back in future look for him, give him five star review...

A memorable houseboat trip - The tour was organised very well by Niranjana from Iris Holidays. Our taxi driver there and back, Babu, was very helpful and kind. We loved the two night houseboat experience. So peaceful and relaxing looking at the birds and the riverside life. Very nice food.

8D/7N holiday in Kerala - Iris holidays worked out a 8D/7N itinerary for us starting off at Cochin and ending at Trivandrum covering Munnar, Thekkady and a nights stay at a Boat House in Aleppy the schedule was well planned with relaxed sight seeing activities during each of the days. The highlight of the entire tour was our Driver Shajeer who was excellent and provided us with a lot of Information and history along the way as he was very knowledgeable. A true professional and sincere individual who takes pride in his work and would highly recommend him to any one looking to plan a trip with Iris in future.
The only lowlight was that our travel coordinator didn’t contact us during the entire period to check on us.

Unique and relaxing experience - My partner and I had a great experience booking this overnight cruise. Iris Holidays made the logistics of getting to and from Kochi very easy and helped us to take a break and relax in the middle of a whirlwind trip. The boat itself was great. The second level was perfect for lounging and watching the fields pass by. You feel like you're alone on the boat despite there being two crewmembers aboard (in a good way). The food they prepared was really tasty and the AC in our bedroom worked great. It was nice that the cost included a little tour of Kochi on the way back because it allowed us to quickly see some sights as we got into town!

A Kerala must do - A calm and beautiful day and overnight on the Backwater Brook. So relaxing, and incredible food freshly prepared by Jit - including just caught lake shrimp at supper. We felt as if we’d been transported to another world. A very efficient and punctual driver helped with transfers from our cruise ship to the boat. I can’t recommend this tour enough; thanks to all involved.

2 day vacation to Kochi-Alleppey houseboat - We had a great 2 days family vacation (2 Adults + 2 Children) at Kochi-Alleppey-Athirapally waterfalls 10 days ago, thanks to the excellent organization and hospitality of Iris Holidays. Booking experience was personalized and stress-free to our requirement. From the time we landed in Kochi till we got dropped back at the Kochi airport on the 2nd day late evening, it was a smooth experience. We had an excellent driver (Mr Lalan) who made thoughtful suggestions enroute for our stopover experiences. Our houseboat team showed great hospitality and took care of all our needs. The houseboat ride and stay overnight in it was a delightful experience. Additionally we covered an elephant ride, a lovely beach, a fantastic folklore museum and the magnificent Athirappally/Vazhachal waterfalls. The entire family thoroughly enjoyed the trip - Thank you Team Iris Holidays!

House Boat Experience - Aleppey Back Waters - We were all locked down inside our society complex for a complete year in 2020. As a Family we all wanted to come out and take a break but not risk the COVID factor. We planned for a road trip to Allepey Back waters. We chose Iris Holidays because of the great experiences we had with their service in the past. They came up to speed and arranged for a awesome stay, food and over-night experience in a House Boat on Allepey Back Waters. We are thankful to the hospitality shown during our stay, thanks.
