Private Jeep Safari with Perfect Wilderness Safaris - I booked a 2-week Private trip in Kenya through Perfect Wilderness Safaris for September. Betty was helpful every step of the way. She quickly responded and answered all of my questions. She also saved the day by taking care of re-booking every lodge and meal reservation when the airline changed our flight to arrive a day later. Betty chose quite a few individually unique lodges for us. Our favorites were Sopa, Sarova, and Salt Lick. We were quite impressed with the variety of food each lodge offered. Betty also made sure the lodges packed lunches on days when we were on game drives. We were met at the airport and taken to The Portico Hotel to rest overnight. The next morning our guide, Chris SafariDoctor was there to greet us right on time. Chris was a great driver and can navigate the terrain. He is friendly and answered all of our questions. Chris took care of everything from lunches to finding ATM stops. Chris was excited to share his love and knowledge of wildlife and fauna with us. He took cues from other animals to locate predators such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards. He asked us what we hoped to see and did his best to make sure that happened. When I couldn’t spot the baby vultures on the cliffs in Hell’s Gate, Chris took my camera and zoomed in to point them out. When he learned of my love of snakes, he went out of his way to look for and find 2 different species. He took care of ensuring all check in and out of lodges went smoothly, picking the perfect spots to eat lunch while viewing hippos and crocodiles, and even extending a hand to make sure I didn’t trip at the lookout hill when I trekked down wearing flip flops! It was nice that all entrance fees and meals were included in the price, so we didn’t have to worry about that. Betty also called through out the trip and checked in to make sure all was going well. Kenya is not about where you stay, what you eat, or your itinerary. The KNOWLEDGE & PASSION of your guide is what makes your trip memorable. Thank you Chris “Safari Doctor” for the amazing experience! I encourage you to plan ahead to ensure gratuity for the person who took care of all your needs 8-12 hours everyday. We were grateful for all the care and service Chris provided each day. We added 3 extra days on to the end of our trip in Diani Beach. I pre-arranged with Betty to have our guide drop us off at Diani Sea Lodge. We flew back to Nairobi from there. Note: If you want to make itinerary changes or add transportation, always check with Perfect Wilderness Safaris. They made it easy to accommodate our needs. We had the trip of a lifetime! I have already started planning a return trip in June 2026 to see Samburu and Watamu. We will definitely be working with Betty at Perfect Wilderness Safaris to make the arrangements. I will also request Chris to be our guide once again as his knowledge and passion is what made this trip unforgettable. I know I checked other people’s reviews on here prior to handing over our deposit. It made me feel more comfortable when choosing to work with Perfect Wilderness Safaris, even though they were so far away. I hope this review helps you in choosing them to plan your trip. We certainly are glad that we did.

Amazing Experience! - After lots of research I decided to go with Perfect Wilderness for my 7-night luxury safari in Kenya and Tanzania (starting/ending in Nairobi). My guide for Kenya (Nathan) and my guide for Tanzania (Mustafer), were both incredible! Not only were they excellent at navigating the national parks and very knowledgable about the animals and plants, they did a great job making me feel safe and secure the entire time. I also loved the customer service Perfect Wilderness provided leading up to this trip, and I will definitely book when them again!

Unforgettable!! - Perfect Wilderness Tours is just what the name says! Perfect! We had an unforgettable trip filled with a lifetime of memories. George made our trip exciting and was not only professional but a funny guy! It’s obvious he loves what he does and has a big heart for Kenya and all the Friends he makes doing safari’s. He’s very knowledgeable about the animals and the parks as well. We’re planning our next safari and will definitely be using Perfect Wilderness Tours again. Thanks George and… OMG!!
