Additional Information

Travel to Kereita Forest, from Nairobi for an action-packed day of adventures. This peaceful paradise offers activities such as ziplining, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, archery, footgolf, and paintball—all within the heart of the Aberdare mountain range. Great for team-building events, families, and adventurers, this is a great way to spend a fun day in nature. Kereita forest bears the distinction of being the site of mass graves for over 5,000 victims of revenge attacks on the local population by the British colonial administration. These reprisals were triggered by the so-called Lari massacre in March 1953 after Mau Mau combatants attacked and killed about 100 loyalists in this area including the local chief Kahangari.

Karaita forest was more interested - We had amazing experience at Ziplining at karaita forest. We enjoyed the hiking, Ziplining. Scaly and horse bird watching. Me and my wife. After Ziplining john asked if we can visit Naivasha crescent island for about 2 hour it was great ideas to visit this island park. I recommend them to anyone within Nairobi for a full day trip. Big up team valley rocks.

Worst tour experience of my life - The trip was a complete waste of time. The day started off with the guide being late and driven by his mate because he was tired…. Before a 10 hour hike and zip line. The car then broke down after 30 minutes. An uber then took us to the forest, where we were driven to the top which eliminated the first 4 hours of hiking. When we arrived the guide asked us what we are doing for the day. The zip line centre and restaurant that we were meant to arrive for lunch were both closed for the day. When we asked about alternative plans the guide kept mentioning about us paying for the price of the uber here after wasting our time or paying additional fees to do something else. We were in such a bad mood from this experience that we refused to pay for anything as it wasted the final day of our holiday with what was such an unprofessional experience and we requested we was taken back to the hotel. On the ride back in the uber the guide fell asleep. Good thing he didn’t have a 10 hour hike.
