Nairobi - Masai Mara National Park

Maasai Mara National Reserve - Between 6:00 and 7:30 am, the driver/guide will collect you from your hotel or a preferred location.

8:00 With everyone ready in the 4 x 4 Safari Jeep, the journey to the park begins, passing the Great Rift Valley escarpment. Along the way, there will be rest stops to appreciate the stunning scenery.

As the journey continues into Masai territory, you might see herdsmen adorned in their vibrant shukas as the reserve approaches.

Arrival at the park is expected around lunchtime. You’ll have the opportunity to freshen up and enjoy lunch at the safari lodge or tented camp.

Following lunch, the first of many game drives over the next three days will commence. The driver/guide will provide insights into the beautiful landscape and the diverse wildlife you are likely to encounter.

Full-Day of Game Drives

Maasai Mara National Reserve - Welcome to safari time – an early start to witness the first golden light and the awakening of the park’s wildlife. Today promises maximum viewing with unlimited game drives across the expansive savannahs.

The focus will be on tracking the big cats, along with elephants, giraffes, buffalos, and the other 95 mammals residing in this renowned park.

During the Great Migration (July – October), witness the incredible movement of animals. Thousands of zebra, gazelle, and wildebeest cross the Mara River in search of taller grasses.

The river is also home to pods of hippos and lurking crocodiles, observing the vast herds entering their domain.

The final safari day begins with an early game drive, seeking out favorite wildlife or any yet to be seen.

If cheetahs have not been spotted, keep an eye out for them stealthily moving through the bush, along with jackals and hyenas.

After breakfast, there will be one more game drive through the park before heading back to Nairobi.

Lunch will be enjoyed en route to the city, with additional rest stops along the way.

The drive offers ample time to reflect on and discuss the 3-day Masai Mara adventure.

Arrival in Nairobi is expected in the late afternoon, with drop-off at your hotel, the airport, or a chosen location.
