Nairobi – Tsavo West National Park

Tsavo West National Park - 0730hrs: Pick up from your Nairobi hotel or Nairobi Airport

Depart Nairobi and proceed to the Tsavo West National Park.
The early morning drive is on smooth tarmac with pit-stops at intervals along the way

The scenic drive is via typical African savanna country dotted with local homesteads and sometimes some colorful Masai herdsmen and their cattle.

Enter the Tsavo west and commence game viewing drives in search of Elephant, Cheetah, Lion, Zebra, Buffalo, Ostrich and more

The Tsavo west is scenic with dramatic landscape due to its recent volcanic action

In the mid- afternoon we visit the rhino sanctuary with more game viewing drives.

We shall try our chances to spot the rhino which is an endangered species.

Amboseli national park

Amboseli National Park - The early bird catches the worm!”

We start early on our morning game viewing drive with a visit to the Mzima springs.

We watch the African Sunrise as the natural world unfolds amid the freshness and beauty of the morning.

We shall later head to the Mzima Springs to view hippos, crocodiles, exotic fish and a variety of bird species.

The greenery surrounding the Mzima springs is a welcome contrast to the harsh terrain that forms the bulk of Tsavo West.

Later the tour proceeds to the Amboseli national park.

Afternoon game viewing drives at the national park.

Game viewing at the Amboseli shall be a leisurely activity with animals easily seen and Mount Kilimanjaro providing a magnificent background for scenic and wildlife photography.

Clouds may open up and the awesome sight of the snow peaked Mount Kilimanjaro shall leave us mesmerized-weather permitting.

Lake Naivasha (340 km: Approx. 5-6 hrs)

Lake Naivasha - Early morning game and scenery viewing drive.

Extra game drive after breakfast.

Proceed to the Lake Naivasha at the floors of the great rift valley.

There shall be a lunch stop at a Nairobi suburb restaurant.

Arrive at the lake Naivasha in the late afternoon.

Afternoon boat safari at the Lake Naivasha to view hippos, exotic birds and small game.

This shall be followed by a guided walking safari at the Crescent Island.
What to do at Naivasha…

Bird watching, boat ride, guided walking safari at Crescent Island, Explore Hell’s gate on a bicycle ride.

Lake Naivasha – Masai Mara (240Km – Approx. 4-5 hours)

Maasai Mara National Reserve - Morning trek at Hell’s Gate.

We hire bicycle to explore this small national park with sightings of Giraffe, Zebra and other large antelopes.

Later exit the lake Naivasha and proceed to the Masai Mara National Reserve.

Arrive Masai Mara and proceed for an afternoon game viewing drive.

Full Day – Masai Mara

Maasai Mara National Reserve - Today shall be a game viewing extravaganza!

Masai Mara Game reserve remains the most exciting wildlife eco-system in the Natural world.

It is host to the highest and most varied concentration of wild animals than any other wildlife park in the region.

The scenic appeal of the tree-studded savannah plains, the moderate climate and diversity of wild game species make it a one-stop shop for game viewing activities.

We shall traverse the Masai Mara reserve on a full day of unlimited game viewing encountering the big five and more of the lesser game.

We shall visit the Mara river where we may watch hippos & crocodiles or maybe the great migration (July – October).

Drop Off Masai Mara – Nairobi: (265km: 6hrs)

Maasai Mara National Reserve - After a leisurely breakfast at your lodge/camp, your dedicated driver guide will assist you with the checkout process and proceed to Nairobi – Kenya’s colorful capital city.

On the way, your guide will point out the Longonot extinct volcano which is a strato volcano located southeast of Lake Naivasha in the Great Rift Valley of Kenya. It is thought to have last erupted in the 1860s and its name is derived from the Maasai word Oloonong’ot, meaning “mountains of many spurs” or “steep ridges “. You can opt to drive via Naivasha for lunch/excursions at an extra cost or drive straight to Nairobi and pass by Kiambethu farm for the tea farm tour inclusive of a three-course buffet lunch (at an extra cost) OR drive straight back to the capital and later transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International airport for your back home.

5 star experience - Day 1: Tsavo east Day 2: Tsavo West Day 3: Amboseli Day 4: Lake Naivasha Day 5 and 6: Masai Mara Once in a life time holiday. Our tour guide George had excellent knowledge of our surroundings and all the animals we saw. We managed to see the big 5 along with many many other animals and only encountered one day of heavy rain, the weather was good otherwise. We chose luxury package and couldn't fault any of our accommodation or food. Expect lots of lizards and big insects that are flying around outside, especially in Tsavo.

An unforgettable experience - We were on a 6-day safari in Amboseli, Naivasha and Masai Mara. Our driver and guide was Michael. His commitment and approach to his work exceeded our expectations - while we were delighted with the views and animals, Michael felt dissatisfied and wanted to show us even more! During these 6 days, he created a truly family atmosphere for us. We are delighted and if we have the opportunity to go on safari again, we will definitely go with Natural World and Michael

Trip of a lifetime - Just returned from the trip of a lifetime to Kenya. I arranged a hotel in Nairobi and Mombasa with internal flight back to Nairobi but Faith arranged everything else, including train to Mombasa from Voi and all taxis. Everything went to plan, we were very late to arrive but two members of staff were waiting to meet us and when are internal flight time was changed Faith changed the taxi pick up straight away. I chose the parks we visited, Amboseli, Tsavo West and East as I wanted to keep the travelling time down. I can't speak highly enough of our guide, Thomas Kombo. We spent many hours in the 4 x 4 with him enjoying our 'African Massage!' He was so knowledgeable and passionate about all the animals and parks. His enthusiasm for every animal shone through and he shared so much of his love for them with us. We would love to return and visit other areas, maybe one day to see the great migration, and Natural World and Thomas will be top of the list.

Amazing experience and memories for our lifetime! - We had an amazing trip and the best time with Natural World Safaris. 100% recommendable! For our Family-Trip to Kenya we chose Natural World Safaris, because of a recommendation from a good friend, who has already done a Safari with them 2 years earlier and spoke very highly of their experience. Every single talk or message with Faith from the office was unbelievably easy, trustworthy and extraordinary friendly. She always answered super quick when we had questions and she planned the perfect tour for our group. However, what - or better who - made our trip and Safari really unforgettable was our Guide Michael (Wainganjo). He was so kind, caring and always respectful to everyone of us, but we could also joke around and simply have a great time. From the very first second that we met him at the airport picking us up, we had a great vibe with him and our connection grew with every single day. Moreover, he has an incredibly vast knowledge of the area, the animals, flora and fauna and we learnt alot about these things as well as aspects about the lifestyle and culture in Kenya. There was literally no question he could not answer. It was a real honor to have had such a great person guiding us throughout our Safari. We felt safe, comfortable and very well informed every single day. Thank you so much again, Michael! You’re a wonderful person and an outstanding guide. So for everyone considering booking a Safari: Go for Natural World Safaris! 100% recommendable, trustworthy and invested in organizing you the breathtaking experience you’d wish for. … and our recommendation to make your trip even better: Ask for Michael. :)

Special thanks to our tour guide Mike (Michael Wanganjo). He has a great knowledge and experience of Kenya, the wild life and all other stuff. And, he is a very save driver in all situations. Thanks also to the very friendly people at the hotels in the parks. We can only reccomend Mike and the Natural World Kenya Safaris organization.
