The day tour kicks off with a convenient hotel pickup. The first stop is a local breakfast in Ambepussa, followed by a visit to the Pinnawala Elephant Village. Here, guests can engage with elephants at the Millennium Elephant Foundation. The journey continues to a spice garden in Mawanella, then to the Sacred Tooth Relic Temple in Kandy. Visitors can enjoy a leisurely walk through the historic city and have lunch at a picturesque viewpoint (note: lunch is not included). The tour also includes a visit to a gem factory to learn about Sri Lanka’s gem industry. On the way back, there is a stop at a tea factory in Kadugannawa to explore Ceylon tea production and participate in a tasting session.
