The journey begins with a brief drive to a village pond, where Lesser Whistling-Ducks, Egrets, Herons, Moorhens, and other birds can be observed. Along the route, there is a stop at a paddy field to view Lapwings, Kingfishers, Sparrows, and Bitterns. The adventure continues to Langkawi’s highest peak, offering the opportunity to see Great Hornbills, Wreathed Hornbills, and various rainforest birds, with the Great Hornbill being the largest bird in Langkawi. The day concludes with a return to the hotel.
