Great tour, highly recommend - We had a wonderful tour! I had a tough time finding tours with an English speaking guide and ended up taking a chance on this one - I’m so glad we did. We saw amazing vistas and sites and there was basically no filler. Everything we saw was super cool and unlike almost anywhere we’d seen before. Special shoutout to our guide Gibrat for getting us everywhere quickly and safely, showing us extra sites, and taking care of all of our food/camping gear/etc. Would highly recommend!

If you have to do one thing in Kazakhstan, it should be this! - My friend and I booked a last-minute tour in winter, and man! What a tour! Stunning places, truly out of this world. Our guide Gibrat went out of his way to make sure we’re comfortable, and well… well fed! He was an experienced driver as well, navigating through the desert’s off roads like a pro, not to mention driving next to cliffs! If you have to do one thing in Kazakhstan, please do yourself a favour and book this tour. We chose the 2-day tour due to time restraints, which i believe was sufficient for us to see the places we wanted to see.

Awesome Experience / Stunning tour - Great Tour - our guide Gibrat did everything very well. We were picked up at the Hotel & Drive to wonderfull places. At Night we could see the Milky Way & Gibrat cooked dinner for us. Sightseeing in the morning begun with an incredible sunset & breakfest. So Day 2 was full of great experiences. Hope we see us again:) Very cool tour - Our guide Gibrat picked us up at the hotel & prepared everything for us. We were picked up at the hotel & drove through the amazing scenery. Holding on to great hotspots & always had enough time for Photos. In the evening we stayed in the tent & got a very good dinner. The place was so dark you could see the Milky Way. The next morning sunrise & breakfast in the tent. The 2. Tag had even more great sights with him. Great experience & I hope to see you again:)

2-day tour - Our guide, Gibrat, true very kind. We had a very special campground right on a beautiful rock formation, which allowed unique shots of the starry sky and sunrise.

A difficult start, but it was worth it. - Our experience started in the worst possible way. Our driver arrived late and, contrary to what was agreed, did not speak English. The main problem was that the driver had no idea what route to take or which road to follow (considering the desert landscape, it is not the best situation), in addition to being unhelpful in trying to communicate. The yurt where we slept had not been cleaned for a very, very long time, and besides being dirty, it was full of spiders. Fortunately, following our complaints, the agency replaced the initial driver with a new driver, Yerkhan. Yerkhan spoke English and immediately proved to be helpful and prepared. We particularly want to thank him since he effectively saved our trip. All in all, spectacular places and very good food. Leaving aside the problems with the initial driver, I would definitely recommend it.

Poor English and bad organisation but a good driver - While the views are incredible and the driver was a really dedicated person, in my opinion the organisation of the trip was really poor. We received an itinerary for the trip, for which we prepared, just to find out on the spot that this itenerary is impossible to follow because on the same day it has attractions hours between each other. We booked a trip in English (and let's face it, paid a premium because of it) just to find out that our driver speaks only a very basic English. You can only imagine that because of that he was not much of a guide. On a private trip we had to share an accommodation with other tourists (or pay a significant fee to have a private one) and found out that full accommodation and all meals are part of the trip only in specific scenarios. We also tried to reach the organizer via Viator during the trip to clarify some points but the moment the trip started they stopped answering our messages. Honestly, for the organisation I'd give max 2/5 but I give +1 personally for the driver, who despite not speaking much English was really dedicated and did as much as he could in the circumstances he faced. One additional point - I'm not sure that a 3-day tour makes sense at all, because there is over half a day of car drive between the North and East attractions, so you lose a lot of the trip. I'd personally go either for shorter (and visit just the east) or longer, and then see everything.

Not worthy - Unfortunately, this tour does not provide a level of service that matches its very high price. The yurt accommodation was in a terrible condition: dirty, smelly, extremely hot and with very uncomfortable beds. We had to complain to the agency before they moved us to a decent yurt, which was literally right next door. The camping equipment was also very basic, with thin mats, no pillows and poor-quality sleeping bags. The guide seemed inexperienced and more focused on finishing early and meeting his friends than on making the most of our tour. We had to wait for him repeatedly in the mornings, while later he rushed us at places of interest. On several days, we arrived at the campsite around 17:30, leaving us with about four hours of daylight in the scorching desert with nothing to do, yet he still rushed us at the places we visited. He rarely stopped at viewpoints along the way and did not explain the daily itinerary or schedule. The only real positives were the incredible landscapes and the driver's excellent skills on the dirt roads. Overall, for €1,200 for 4 days for two people, we expected a much more professional and better-organised service. The other tours we saw in Mangystau clearly offered better equipment and organisation.

The tour is not worth the price paid. - We paid €1,200 for two people for 4 days and, honestly, I think the service received is not worth such a high price. A major incident was the payment. The agency only wanted us to pay in cash and tried to charge us a 16% commission if we paid by card: €192 extra! By not accepting that surcharge, we were finally able to pay by card without any commission. The night in the yurt was especially disappointing: the beds were very old and you could feel the springs just by running your hand over the mattress. I think that for €300 a day the agency cannot take you to a place like that. The agency did nothing to resolve it; I had to find another option myself at another accommodation that was right next door. I also do not find the condition of the sleeping bags acceptable. They are part of the bedding and should be washed after every client. The camping utensils and equipment were also very basic: very thin sleeping mats and they did not even give us cushions/pillows for our heads. Furthermore, for €300 a day, a tent for the driver was not even included. He slept out in the open and, the night it rained, he had to sleep inside the car. I find that a totally inadequate condition for a person who has to drive for hours the next day. The guide was pleasant and drove really well on the dirt tracks, but his lack of experience and professionalism in other aspects of the tour organization was noticeable. We had to wait for him every morning only for him to rush us at the places we visited. He just wanted to leave late and finish early to meet up with his friends from other tours. More than one day we arrived at 5:30 PM with nothing to do afterward. While his friends prepared breakfast, he slept. Ultimately, the experience and the level of service we received do not justify paying €1,200 for four days. Comparing with other agencies we saw during the trip, I think they have much better service and organization.

Do not recommend - We did a tour back in april 2026. Reckless drivers. We had a car accident (car overturned). Luckily no major injuries. No apologies were made. Drivers only cared about tips. Food was great though.
