Leave Kigali as early as 05h00 and drive for an estimated 3.5 hours to reach Akagera National Park by 08h30. With our local and friendly tour guide, the transport is assured with a choice 4x4 car with WIFI onboard to keep you connected with your loved ones and the world (Some spots in the park do not have connectivity). Spend the entire day through the park to depart back to Kigali late afternoon. Akagera National Park has a diversity of wildlife including buffaloes, elephants, giraffes, zebras, impalas and many others. After a long time being extinct, the black rhinos and lions have recently been restocked. Their sighting is always not guaranteed due to their small number and the hiding character of the black rhino. Enjoy the game drive viewing the natural habitat of different animals, birds and enjoying the view of different lakes and landscape.

Amazing experience in Akagera with Jean Paul - We had an amazing experience in Akagera, thanks to our driver, Jean-Paul. The itinerary is convenient and well-planned - pick-up was punctual and we stopped at a great little coffee shop. The vehicle is spacious and equipped with comforts. Jean-Paul was an excellent and knowledgeable guide, and he made an effort to ensure we saw as many animals as possible - we saw 4 of the Big 5 (lion, elephant, rhino, and buffalo), as well as zebras, giraffes, crocodiles, hippos, baboons and monkeys, impalas, and loads of birds. We had also opted for the boat ride and the pop-up roof, and we enjoyed those as well. Everything proceeded very smoothly - everyone, from the tour operator, to Jean Paul, to the park staff - was welcoming. This is a great, unspoilt park, visiting it was an unforgettable experience, definitely would recommend! :)

Great experience! - We had an amazing experience in Akagara. Our driver and guide (Amor) was engaging and worked hard to help us see lots of animals and some incredibly diverse landscape. The pop up roof was great!

Absolute highlight, 4/5 of the big 5 - With Anaclet we had a great day, an absolute highlight for all of us, just WOW!
Had really seen luck and extremely many different animals, only the leopard was missing 😊 would definitely book it just like that again!

As an adult to see your beloved cartoons in real wild life - An amazing trip following beloved main characters from adored cartoons since childhood 🙈🦁🦓🐘
We were lucky with our driver Jean Paul who based on his experience through the years did the Game Drive full of emotions, un expectations, focus) and joy 😊
The real presentation of Africa with full background of history, mentality and vibe.

Long day, but well worth it. - A great adventure from Kigali. Our guide, Jean Paul, really made the whole thing great. We were extremely lucky to see all of the Big 5, but obviously you never know what you're going to see on Safari. Its a very long day, but worth it. We had the pop-up 4-wheel vehicle, which was awesome but not necessary; there were times that I think we had a better view than folks without it. We did the boat tour and if you haven't seen hippos before, I would suggest it. We saw a couple of crocodiles as well, and the best opportunity to see buffalo. However, the tour would have been worth it without the boat tour. Overall, a great experience that I would highly recommend.

Unforgettable Experience at Akagera Park - Our first visit to Akagera was truly exceptional. Bachou was punctual, attentive, and very knowledgeable. He taught us about animal behavior, local flora and fauna, and species adaptation with passion and clarity. The day was full of laughter, learning, and good energy. It was by far our best experience in Rwanda so far. I truly recommend this experience !

What a day !! - What an extraordinary day. Bachou, our driver arrived early to prepare the car for my daughters car seat which was really appreciated, while I organised my toddler in the back of the RAV4 which had plenty of space he registered us with the park which would save us time later on. We then set of in the dark to the reserve. During our journey Bachou shared with me so much about life in Rwanda, the park and its animals and I was so grateful for the knowledge he shared with me. We stopped at a gorgeous coffee shop/restaurant to stretch our legs. The park itself, matched with Bachous sincere enthusiasm and joy for his work made for a truly exceptional experience. My daughter and I felt totally taken care of, all our needs were met, we saw some incredible sights and it was a the safari I had always imagined. We were not rushed, and the day was managed perfectly for us, even with our circumstances aka having my toddler along. About the tour company..expertly executed customer service, easy to book, great value for money and even a follow up to make sure all went well. Thanks to the the whole team, especially Bachou for the unforgettable experience. Truly once in a lifetime.

Amazing experience all around - Saw so many animals as soon as we entered! The guides did their absolute best and we saw 4 out of the big 5. They were so informative. The whole experience was amazing we all loved it. Wish we stayed over. Also the lunch provided is really nice

An Unforgettable Safari Adventure with Friends! - Exploring Akagera National Park with friends was an incredible experience! From the moment we entered, we were surrounded by stunning savannah landscapes and amazing wildlife. Spotting lions, elephants, giraffes, and hippos up close made the trip even more exciting.
