• Vienybės aikštė - Formerly the main square of the state, now the central square of Kaunas, it honors the nation’s most challenging and heroic periods. Monuments dedicated to national preservation are found here, along with the Eternal Flame and the resting place of the Unknown Soldier.
• St. Gertrude’s Church (Gertrudos baznycia) - A 500-year-old church featuring a mystical “Candle Altar” where those seeking divine assistance come to pray.
