Family friendly, well-run, educational & fun! - Wonderfully fun, educational and family-friendly experience! Worth the price, and the guides and owner are so friendly & knowledgeable. We went during the April school break, and our guide - Heidi - gave our younger daughter (12 years old) a brown, paper ‘memory bag’ before we started, suggesting she look for and collect ‘all the colors of the rainbow.’ It was such a simple but smart gesture that made the hike tons more enjoyable for her, and thus all of us! Heidi even helped her collect some of the harder to reach ‘colors.’ As soon as we got back to our resort, our daughter neatly positioned them all on our balcony table, where they stayed for the rest of the week. (See picture.) We appreciated not only Heidi’s stories and info, but her obvious, genuine care for nature and for Kauai and its people. Also appreciated them distributing large, sturdy umbrellas and unlimited bug lotion at the beginning (not that it was even very rainy or buggy). And they certainly weren’t stingy with the many dark chocolate samples! Our whole family loved this very organized and well-run hiking tour.

Continuing to Recognize Fawna - It was interesting to learn about the fauna on Hawaii at the beginning of our trip as we could recognize it as we continued to encounter it. The chocolate was also nice.

Awesome Botanical Garden Tour - The Princeville Botanical Garden Tour is way more than you might expect. The gardens are actually part of an amazing 9 acre Hawaiian rain forest. Our guide was very professional. There wasn't a single plant he could not identify and tell you a story about it's history and use. Definitely a must do activity if you plan on going to Kauai.

Interesting, beautiful, fun, and delicious! Don’t miss this tour! - The warm, friendly, aloha vibes began the moment we arrived and they never stopped. Every single person we encountered was wonderful, but our guide, Troy, was absolutely incredible. The way he shared his knowledge and described the history of the garden was intriguing, engaging, and just plain fun. The garden itself is magical and Troy did a great job of pointing things out and letting us discover and ask questions. This place has such a generous atmosphere from providing bug repellent for free to special tasting treats along the trail to the truly delicious (and interesting!) chocolate tasting. This is my favorite activity on Kauai!
