- 2251 Poipu Rd - The first portion of your lesson is spent on land learning the basics of paddling, getting up and surfing a wave. The rest of the time is in the water with your professional, fun instructor sharing tips and information on how to actually surf! A safety briefing and all gear needed is provided. Minimum age for group lessons is 8 years and maximum weight is 225 lbs.

Turn into the Ko'a Kea Resort entrance off of Po'ipu Rd. Follow the Ko'a Kea signs on your right all the way into the Valet area at the Ko'a Kea Resort (Red Salt Restaurant). Tell them you are there for a surf lesson. We are located poolside next to the Pool Bar at our Hoku Water Sports kiosk.

100% Recommend Surf lessons - Kele was a great instructor and coach. He was wonderful with the kids and taught them more about Hawaii than surfing. Waves were small enough to be safe for beginners but big enough and consistent to catch wave after wave the entire session. Lots of pictures and memories!!!

Best Experience - We had the best experience from the moment we arrived to the time we left. We were greeted with amazing people with even better attitudes. The instructor was awesome to learn from and his personality and ours meshed very well. 100% would do again.

Epic surf with Kele - We had a wonderful surf lesson with Kele. He gave us great tips and my husband and I both enjoyed the experience and would definitely recommend this company. No complaints. The beach was beautiful and plenty of epic waves for all ages and surf levels.

So much fun!! - So much fun! I learned so much so quickly and had a great time! We practiced in a very safe area that wasn’t crowded. The instructor was very helpful but still pushed me to try different moves and get out of my comfort zone.

Amazing Instructor - Kele was an amazing instructor. Me and my wife were very nervous to do this because we had never done it before and never even done that far out onto the ocean. He explained the process thoroughly, helped us calm down as he could see some nervousness, and helped get into the water even after a failed surfing attempt. He brings in positive energy and is super good at what he does! Would 10/10 recommend to all my friends and family!

Great time - Great lesson. I learned how to surf- the instructor was knowledgeable and fun. He made it super easy to have fun and gave great feedback, when you got it you could hear him celebrate in the back haha it was a great time
