• Kukui Grove - Travelers will gather by the Kauai Bakery. Begin the day on a delightful note with an introduction to the renowned Portuguese doughnuts, malasadas. Prepare for a delectable sweet treat. Coffee and other savory delights are available for purchase. Please arrive by 8:00 am to enjoy some coffee and pastries before the tour commences.
• Menehune Fish Pond - This is not just any pond; it is a massive pond constructed in ancient times by Hawaii’s first settlers from the Marquesas Islands. Admire the stunning surroundings as you journey through the Kipu Kai area. Discover the intriguing legend of the Menehunes and the archaeological and cultural significance of the pond. Numerous Hollywood films have been shot in this area. There will be two stops for ample photo opportunities.
• Wailua Falls - Finally, it’s time to visit another waterfall, because one can never have too many waterfalls. The iconic Wailua Falls, featured in the opening scene of the Fantasy Island TV show, awaits. There will be plenty of time for photos, providing the perfect conclusion to the tour.
• Lydgate State Park - Enjoy a leisurely walk along the path by the picturesque Lydgate Beach Park, where you can dip your feet in the famous Morgan Ponds, learn about the ancient temple of worship where Hawaiians greeted the rising sun daily, the city of refuge, and more. This is a relaxing walk suitable for all ages, with numerous photo opportunities.
• Opaekaa Falls - At this stop, visitors will explore two sites: Opaekaa Falls and the Wailua River lookout, located in Wailua town, where Hawaiian royalty once resided. Stunning views and numerous photo opportunities await.
• Lydgate Farms Kauai Chocolate - Visit Kauai’s premier chocolatier and sample a variety of flavors that will surely delight your senses. All chocolate bars are crafted on the island from cocoa beans grown on Kauai.
• Kapaa - Relish lunch in the historic town of Kapaa, where there are numerous options for locally made food, from food trucks to restaurants. Additionally, fruit stands, smoothie and coffee bars, and shave ice are available. A love for food is shared, and it is hoped you share it too.
