Welcome to “Under The Sea” - A Hawaiian Reef Spearfishing Experience.

In this lesson, you will learn the art of Hawaiian Reef Three-Prong Spearfishing. You will be taught how to identify Hawaiian endemic reef fish, as well as exhilarating techniques to catch dinner and provide for your Ohana (family).

The meeting location will be around Anini Beach. (Specific location instructions will be sent to you after booking.)

Once gathered, we will promptly begin with a 30-minute safety and educational briefing. After that, we will walk to our entry point and partake in a Naupaka Cleansing Ceremony, a Hawaiian tradition passed down through generations.

Next, we will start our 90-minute dive and experience Hawaii’s largest barrier reef.

If we’re lucky, we will return with exciting stories, unforgettable memories, and some dinner for the family.

Welcome to “Under The Sea” - A Hawaiian Reef Spearfishing Lesson for Beginners. In this experience, you’ll swim with turtles, learn about native Hawaiian reef fish species, and explore Hawaii’s largest barrier reef. We’ll also participate in a Naupaka Cleansing Ceremony, a tradition handed down through generations. You’ll discover the art of Hawaiian Sling 3-prong spearfishing and understand why it is considered one of the most challenging types of spearfishing.
