- Enjoy pairings of local seasonal fruits and honey.
- Discover a unique area of the farm not included in the cacao farm tour.
- Please list the age of your child or children when making a reservation. We only allow children over 7 years old.
- Farm visits require a tour reservation (we do not offer self-guided tours). Visit our tasting room in Kapaa town instead!
- Children tour fare is valid for kids 7-12 . We do not allow children under 7, including infants in carriers, as this experience is best suited for older children and adults. We invite families with younger children to visit our new Lydgate Chocolate Tasting Room in downtown Kapaa: now open Monday – Friday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
- Please no children under 7.
- Special Requirements: This outdoor farm tour includes walking and standing. You must be able to comfortably walk ~100 yards and stand for 15 minutes. You must also be able to put on a full body bee suit without assistance.
- Dress comfortably (you will be wearing a bee suit over your clothes)
- Wear closed-toe shoes (with calf-length socks). Sandals not recommended.
- Bring a water bottle and sunscreen.

Awesome Experience! - This was an awesome tour that I would highly recommend to others. It was informative, fun and a totally unique experience. Our guides, McKenna and Jewel, were very knowledgeable and did an excellent job educating us about the bees and the process of making honey. We all had an opportunity to be involved and even got to taste the honey fresh off the frame!

Honey tour was sweet! - Ronnie and Jewels were great guides. We got participate and see the harvesting of honey, and the working of the hives. It was very informative and a great deal of fun.

Taking Honey to New Levels - Took the tour as a family with two young girls. McKenna and Jess were both great, lots of enthusiasm and energy, learned a lot about bees, and they were great with taking questions. Also learned a lot about cocoa. The honey was delicious, and we had a tasting with a few varieties afterwards. Including eating some honeycomb that was maybe 5 or 10 minutes out of the hive. We all came away with small jars. I left thinking, damn, I really want to go home and start our own hive. And the diversity in honey flavor was eye-opening. Highly recommend, and you may come back with a deep appreciation of bees and honey.

Amazing and unique experience - Wonderful and up close adventure with a working farm and real honey bees. Alexandria and Jules were our amazing hosts and had such great knowledge to share with us all while keeping us excited and safe. We got to take home the actual honey from the hive we saw and it was so delicious we bought more to bring home. The small group definitely allowed for a personal touch and will absolutely be recommending this tour to everyone I know that will visit the island. Well done!

Love Kaua’i honey - This tour was amazing! We learned so much about bees, their habitats and the honey bees on Kaua’i. The bee keepers, Makenna and Alex were very informative and you could tell they loved their bees and their jobs! We got to suit up and hold the hives and eat their honey. It’s worth taking!

Honeybees are incredible - This your was so fun!! We got to put the bee suit on and everything! We leaned all about the honey bee population in Kauai and how they are thriving. We watched the bees at work and tasted their incredible honey! Made me appreciate the bees that much more! 🐝 the tour was informative and you can tell that these bee keepers love their jobs! Thanks for a great tour, Makenna and Alex! We loved it 😍

Great tour of a live bee apiary! - I had a great experience! The staff really seemed to care about what they do, we're very friendly and made sure we were comfortable and enjoying the tour. The treat at the end was cool we got to eat the honey we harvested. I highly recommend it!

UnBEElievable Fun - We had an amazing time with McKena and Ronnie learning about honey production on this quaint farm. They truly embodied the aloha spirit as they shared their knowledge and made us feel so comfortable. The honey is absolutely divine and this experience will be one I will always remember. If you love honey definitely go check this out. You will leave with a sense of awe and wonder and a greater appreciation of bees.

Informative and delicious!!! - The tour was by far the best tour I've ever been on in Hawaii or anywhere for that matter. Our guides Sarah and Mackenna were so knowledgeable and made the tour so much fun. We had a great time learning about Bees but also the best part was tasting the honey we harvested as a group!!! So so good, the various kinds of honey were so interesting to taste, I personally loved the Macadamia Nut flower honey, and took a jar home with me too!!! Definitely do this tour if you are even thinking about booking it!!!
