Art with soul – the best Thangka painting shop in town - There are no words that could describe him sufficiently. We really vouch for him – he is one of the best people we have ever met. We were impressed by his passion, sincerity and outstanding Service.
It's a small business, but with an incredible collection. What I appreciated most was how much time he took for us. He was able to patiently show various thangkas throughout the day – from his students’ first works to masterful pieces by his experienced artists. He explained everything with so much clarity and genuine passion, something we have not experienced in any other business.
We have also compared its prices with several other stores and found nowhere better. Honest, competent and fair – this business is truly unique. He even encouraged us to take time to visit other stores and compare quality and prices before buying anything. At first we thought it was just a sales tactic, but later we realized he was 100% right. A few days later we came back and bought with full conviction from him.

Great way to see behind the scenes of a frenetic city - A great way to get behind the facades of the city and sample some local specialities, along with stories of local life and customs , Swoyam was a lovely guide with plenty of information and stories to tell.

Awesome secret food experiences! - Our guide Jivraj took us to so many hidden food locations that we would never have been brave enough or had the knowledge to discover without him! We tried such a diverse an authentic array of food and drink and learnt so much about the culture. All food and drinks covered in the cost, which was great, a private tour too! Highlight of our time in Kathmandu and highly recommend to anyone visiting Kathmandu and wanting to experience local food.

Amazing local experience! - Whilst other tours take you to very tourist-oriented areas, this one was a dive into real local cuisine and some sightseeing along the way! Swoyam was an excellent guide with detailed local knowledge and excellent English. He made the tour go very smoothly
We explored areas where there were no tourists at all but it felt very safe and welcoming. The food places were places I would never have had any chance of finding myself and were uniformly excellent. These places were all popular with the locals.
I tried several foods I’d never had before and some versions which were better than I’d had at home. Even just exploring the maze like streets and markets was worth the experience!

A fabulous & unique experience with Swoyam - What a fabulous experience I had with Swoyam. Firstly, he was an exceptionally knowledgeable & enthusiastic young guide, speaking perfect English. The food was fabulous & although I'd already walked for hours around Kathmandu, Swoyam took me to authentic places I would never have found alone. Yes, back-street establishments that may not appeal to all, but I loved them all & suffered no ill effects. 🙏😎

The tour was a perfect... - The tour was a perfect start for our trip to Nepal. I did the tour with my mother as it was her first time in Kathmandu. Perfect for getting a feeling of vibrant Kathmandu. It is my fourth time in Kathmandu and even I learned a lot of new things about Nepali culture and food. Swoyam was a great guide. Very polite and kind! Hundred percent recommend the tour and Swoyam as a guide. Tour is for everyone - newbie or more experienced to Kathmandu - older or younger!

Great tour guide - Great tour although we go to hidden gems they are extremely dirty. We were pretty worried about getting sick. Great guide and it was fun. You have to be adventurous to do this one

Not Your Ordinary Food Tour - Not to be Missed! - A fabulous food tour through the old city! We strolled through medieval architecture and temples, tasting local foods along the way. Hidden gems that we would have never found on our own! We even asked to try pani-puri and our guide was very accommodating.
Food was delicious and guide very knowledgable. Come hungry!

Excellent food tour with Roshan - Roshan took me to 5-6 places, each one unique with interesting and amazing food. I would never have been able to find any of these places on my own. We went down narrow streets, alleyways to find the most unique places imaginable. Roshan was an excellent guide, excellent English and very personable.
