Solid company! - We had a great experience with Green Valley Nepal Treks! From the very beginning, their communication was clear, helpful, and friendly. They offered us a very fair price for our trek, and throughout the whole process, they were incredibly understanding and supportive. We ran into some unexpected issues with our flights to Lukla (as can often happen), but Green Valley handled it professionally and with genuine care. They made sure we were taken care of during the extra days we had to spend in Ramechhap, covering our stay and ensuring we were comfortable and informed. Also when due to initial delay there were no available beds in Gorakshep we were offered warm and convenient tents that kept us warm through the night. Their team was kind, responsive, and clearly experienced in dealing with the complexities of trekking logistics in Nepal. Thanks to their support, what could have been a stressful delay turned into a manageable part of the adventure. Everest Base Camp Trek with Green Valley Nepal Treks & Deepak – A Lifetime Adventure! - I did the Everest Base Camp (EBC) trek in July 2025 with my friend, organized by Green Valley Nepal Treks & Research Hub P Ltd, and although we couldn’t make it all the way to EBC due to altitude sickness at 4000m in Phengboche, the journey was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived in Kathmandu to the adventurous KTM–Lukla flight, and throughout the trek, Green Valley handled everything professionally. The logistics, accommodations, and itinerary were all arranged exactly as promised on their website and booking. Their team was organized, responsive, and always helpful. I especially want to highlight our guide, Deepak – a local from Lukla and a true gem of Green Valley Treks. He was friendly, supportive, and deeply caring throughout the trip. He kept us motivated, encouraged us during tough times, and treated us like family. The chicken fries made by his mom on the last day were a heartwarming and memorable treat – such a thoughtful gesture! Even when he wasn’t feeling well himself, he stood by us and helped us manage our flight delays due to bad weather in Lukla. I honestly feel like I gained a brother in Nepal. Although the monsoon season made things more challenging – especially the flights – it was still a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The mountain views, the culture, and the sense of adventure were beyond words. Tips for future trekkers: - Try to plan your EBC trek during peak season (spring or autumn) instead of the monsoon season. - It’s more fun and efficient to travel in a group rather than just 1 or 2 people. Best Guide, Best Service - The whole trek was incredible! Even though the weather wasn’t always on our side, we soaked in every moment and made the most of it. Honestly, the views were absolutely breathtaking. A special shoutout to our guide, Deepak. What a gem of a person. He made every step of the journey fun and memorable. There was even a point where I was seriously struggling with just carrying my 1L water bottle and Deepak, without hesitation, stepped in to help. I don’t know what all I brought back from the trek, but one thing I’m sure of — I gained a brother for life. Thank you for everything, Deepak. And to green valley thank you for making everything so smooth, thank you for being cooperative throughout.

Superlative! Simply superlative! - A. Pre-trek. Green Valley website was one amongst many, but it must have had something that set it apart. Contacting the company was easy and relaxed. All my questions were openly and frankly answered. The enrollment process was simple and streamlined and quick. I always felt informed and in control. B: On the Trek. Our guide Gopal was experienced, knowledgeable, and a genuinely nice guy. His attention to detail was faultless. There was never even as suggestion of a hitch and he was able to adapt on the go. He kept us in thralled with stories based on his previous 500 or so tricks and amazed us with his demonstrated courage and initiative. C. Post Trek. Finalising matters was very simple and quickly completed. The celebratory dinner was a hoot. We have all now departed to our various parts of the world simply better human beings thanks to Arjun, Raj and the staff of Green Valley Trekking

Gopal and EBC trekking - What an experience! Such brilliant tracks and even better views. Our guide, gopal, was an expert and made every step feel so easy. His knowledge of the area was consistently on display as he guided us through the small villages towards the end destination, knowing what to eat and what to avoid, he made us feel cared for with his extensive medical knowledge and had great stories to share, all of which making for an authentic experience. He understood when to take the track slowly and when to push us. His caring nature, vibrant personality and welcoming smile made each day so much better. He honestly made the trek what it was! If you have the opportunity I could not recommend the trip more, especially if ur lucky enough to have gopal as your guide!

Gopal the greatest! - Had an amazing experience with green valley treks doing the EBC trek, set up perfectly behind the scenes and our guide Gopal seemed to be the president of the Khumbu region with all the connections he had to help us out along the trek. The people at green valley help you out before, during and after the trek amazingly and couldn’t recommend a better company to undertake the EBC with. Gopal Tamang helped us out throughout the hike and became a good friend by the end of the trek, couldn’t recommend a better guide than him!

Green Valley will go above & beyond to make your trip a personalized experience—top notch! - This was my second time trekking to EBC. Green Valley was just an excellent guide and trekking company. They offered me reasonable fee compared to others in Kathmandu and addressed any concerns I had along the way. Although I was not satisfied with the English skills of the first guide who met me in Lukla, they quickly changed my guide to Tika whose English was excellent. The assigned porter and Tika worked extremely hard to get me down the hill to Namche from Everest View Hotel but I always felt extremely well cared for. Trekking solo at age 61 is not easy so you need a great trekking company behind you. Unfortunately at Namche it was quite evident that I was ill. I must have caught a sinus infection on the plane to Kathmandu and this had me gasping for oxygen & made ascending quite tricky. My pulse ox read in 70s from Day 2 and the guide quickly acted and gave me dexamethasone. By the time I got to Namche I decided to acclimatize for a day or two extra but was having continuing symptoms of acute altitude illness (vomiting, extreme nausea, headaches, clumsiness with additional falls) so I went to the clinic in Namche and saw the doctor there on a Sunday!! They gave me antibiotics and other medications and recommended I descend ASAP. Raj was very responsive in Kathmandu and arranged a helicopter on a Sunday night for early the next morning and I was efficiently evacuated from Namche. Upon returning to Kathmandu, Green Valley met me at airport and took me back to Hotel Shankar as well as offered me any assistance and a ride back to the airport for my departure back home the next night. Despite the health challenges of my trip, I would highly recommend Green Valley bc even as I returned over 2 months ago, I am still in contact with Raj who is still helping me get my travel insurance reimbursement. As a side note, DO NOT use Trip Mate insurance!!! I really appreciate Raj and Tika and my porter and they did a wonderful job. Tika especially always looked after my needs and was very caring and got me my Coca Cola for nausea all the time. On other notes, Everest View Hotel is not worth an overnight stay bc you can do a day trek there from Namche, the Hillary School is 100% worth seeing and ask Raj for a room in Lukla looking out over the airstrip so you can watch all the helicopters and planes taking off and landing!!! It’s a once in a lifetime experience truly!!!! Thank you Raj and Tika for an amazing trip. I hope to come back again someday when I do not get sick. Do not miss the Monestary tours especially in Namche and the Sherpa Museum. Also in Kathmandu, I highly recommend Hotel Shankar!!! I stayed in Yak & Yeti last time as my splurge but Hotel Shankar is WAY BETTER and much less cost.

Everest Base Camp Trek (via Cho La Pass) - Just completed the Everest Base Camp trek via the Cho La Pass with Biru! Biru was the best guide I could have asked, always knowing every mountain we could see and always checking up on me throughout the trek. Saw some amazing views and got very lucky with the weather.

Good price, professionalism, modesty = Green Valley - Green Valley is a company that I highly recommend, after the successful trek to Everest Base Camp in May 2025. Even though we missed the return flight due to the weather in Lukla, Arjun helped us and provided us with all the required data that helped us recover money from the insurance company (Rise & Shield which I also recommend). Also our guide Parshu was very helpful, professional and humane, helping us with both information and advice and even services (like serving meals safely).

Excellent experience. Amazing scenes and great organisation from Green Valley. - Excellent. I had an amazing experience on a tailored hike over a 4 day period from Lukla. Arjun and his team developed a customised itinerary. Pre-arrival information, answers to questions, logistics arrangements and communicarion throughout has been of an excellent standard. My guide, Nishan, was professional, knowledgeable, diligent and a genuine pleasure to be around. He gave me a perfect level of varied information, including on history, culture, climate, landscape, food and agriculture. A truly impressive guy.
