Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla - 35 min flight, trek to Phakding
Phakding - An early morning scenic flight (35 min) takes guests to Lukla, the land of the Sherpa people. Here, they will meet the crew who will carry their luggage throughout the trek. The trek begins in Lukla with a 2-hour acclimatization and tea stop, followed by a downhill walk along the Dudh Koshi River, passing through the Sherpa villages of Chhupulung and Ghat, before reaching Phakding. The trail offers breathtaking views of mountains and beautiful landscapes, with Tibetan words carved in rocks and colorful Buddhist flags adorning the mani walls, adding excitement to the trek. Guests will ensure the safe passage of Yak trains, overnight at the lodge.

Trek to Namche Bazaar
Irish Pub - Guests will be greeted with a friendly ‘Good Morning’ and enjoy breakfast with hot drinks. After breakfast, the trek continues through lush pine forests, crossing the Dudkosi River, offering the first stunning views of Mount Everest, Kusum Kangaroo, Thamserku, Kangtega, and more, before a slow and steep climb to Namche Bazaar. The view is unparalleled. Namche Bazaar, the capital of the Khumbu region, is known as a trading center, set in an arena surrounded by beautiful mountains. In the afternoon, guests can explore the lively market area, overnight at the lodge.

Rest and Acclimatization Day at Namche
Irish Pub - A day for rest and acclimatization. Guests will ascend to a lookout for magnificent views of Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Cholatse, Thamserku, Kwangde, Khandala, the stunning Ama Dablam, and one of the most beautiful valleys imaginable. They will climb higher to Syangboche and the Everest View Hotel (built by the Japanese as a deluxe hotel with great views of Mt. Everest and the highest mountains on Earth). Afterwards, guests can relax or explore the charming Namche Bazaar, which features shops, restaurants, a bakery, and a colorful market (each Saturday). They can also visit the Sherpa Museum and learn about traditional Sherpa customs, as well as view the mountain photo gallery in Namche Bazaar, overnight at the lodge.

Trek to Tengboche
Tengboche Monastery - Today, guests trek along the Everest highway (a significant contribution to trekkers and locals). This section includes the famous descent to the Dudh-Koshi River and the equally famous ascent through rhododendron forests via Phunki Thanga, across the Imja Khola River, and up to Tengboche Monastery. Upon reaching Tengboche, guests will visit Tengboche Monastery, one of the spiritually significant Buddhist monasteries in the Khumbu region, with views of Everest, Ama Dablam, and other peaks, overnight in Tengboche.

Trek to Dingboche
Dingboche View Point - In the early morning light, the Tengboche Monastery and surrounding mountains appear pristine and spectacular. After breakfast, the trail leads through a beautiful forest (referred to as “Merlin’s Forest” for its magical quality), down to the river, and back up to the village of Pangboche. Guests will pass several Chortens, Mani-stone walls, small villages, and marvel at the stunning Ama Dablam. After lunch, the trek continues past the towering north face of Ama Dablam into the Imja Khola Valley. Guests will cross the Lobuche River and hike up to Dingboche for a well-deserved rest.

Acclimatization Day at Dingboche
Dingboche View Point - A rest day at Dingboche, a popular stop for trekkers and climbers heading to Mt. Everest, Ama Dablam, or Imja Tse. The village is picturesque, with fields enclosed by stone walls to protect barley and potatoes from the cold wind. Guests will spend the day acclimatizing, with day hikes to either Nagarjung Hill or Chukkhung Valley for stunning views of Makalu, Lhotse, Chalotse, Tawache, Ama Dablam, and other surrounding snowcapped peaks, overnight at the lodge.

Trek to Lobuche
Trek to Everest Base Camp and back to Gorak Shep
Gorak Shep - Today is the most thrilling and eagerly anticipated day. Departing from Lobuche, the trail leads through flat meadows before following the Khumbu Glacier northwards and a short climb up. The trail then ascends onto the lateral moraine of the Khumbu Glacier to Gorak Shep. The path offers superb views of the massive Khumbu Glacier and the trans-Himalayas. Upon arrival at Gorak Shep, guests will check into their rooms, and after lunch, they will walk to Everest Base Camp. The trail continues on the moraine of the Khumbu Glacier, with the path often changing with the seasons due to glacier melting. Once at Base Camp, guests will take photographs before retracing their steps to Gorak Shep. Overnight at the lodge.

Hike to Kalapathar and back to Pheriche
Mount Everest - An early morning wake-up call for a 2-hour climb to Kalapathar at the base of Mt. Pumori. From Kalapathar, guests will witness the sunrise over the majestic Himalayas in a 360º view, including Mt. Everest, Nuptse, Lola, Khumbutse, Ama Table, Tabuchi, Cholatse, Thamserku, and numerous other peaks, with excellent views of Everest Base Camp and the Khumbu Glacier. After breakfast, the trek continues through the moraine of the Khumbu Glacier, passing Lobuche, and descending back down the beautiful valley to Pheriche, overnight at the lodge.

Everest Beauty Salon - Today, the trail descends the steep section back along the same route, crossing Jorsalle, Manjo, Benkar, Phakding, and other small villages. Guests will enjoy walking over several suspension bridges across the Dhud Koshi River. It’s time to celebrate and reflect on an incredible experience, often described as “unbelievable,” “life-changing,” “unimaginable,” “a quantum shift in consciousness,” and “a must for everyone’s bucket list.”
