Fantastic Team! - My experience with Exciting Nepal was exceptional. Subash was extremely helpful with all arrangements and showed real care for the trek to go as perfectly as possible. Our guide DB was phenomenal, sharing his expertise and friendly vibes 24/7 and meeting all our requests and even going beyond what was expected. 12 day Everest Base Camp Trek - This was an incredible experience and one of the most beautiful places I've ever been to. It is a journey that starts relatively comfortable but gets difficult so be prepared for that. In regards to exciting Nepal, Subash was our point of contact and he was extremely patient with our MANY questions, responded promptly and adjusted the trip to our needs when requested. We appreciated all of that! Basu, our guide, was a highlight of the trip for me. He was polite, kind, thoughtful and just overall the kind of person keeping many balls up in the air at all times during the trek. While hiking with him and stopping at camps, you can tell he is well liked and connected and helped us every step of the way, including flying back to Kathmandu when flights were scarce. I am super grateful for this experience and everything went as planned. If comfort is very important to you, discuss with Subash paying a little extra for more premium accommodations. We stuck to the basics and that was okay with us, but you should be able to customize to something more comfortable if you are willing to pay of course.

Amazing added team members! - Why choose Exciting Nepal Treks and Expedition as your guide tour to conquer EBC? Let me tell you some of the reason I chose this agency and why I would choose it again and highly recommend it. There are so many options available, but after choosing 5 different agencies, this was the one that responded promptly, aligned to what we were looking for, and worked with us best to create an itinerary that meet our needs and wants. Subash is very responsive and will clarify information as much as you need. He will redirect to additional website for needed information and will make himself available to have a phone conversation and even meet with you and your team via video call if needed. Also, the agency provides some of the equipment needed for your trek which is quality items such as sleeping bags, duffle bags, trekking poles and a down jacket. All which are kept in good condition and cleaned properly. Though, the true gem of this company in my opinion, is their guide Basu Dev who was matched with our team along with the wonderful porters Akash (who has the best smile that you cannot help but curl the ends of your lips into a smile when you see him), Arjun, and Peshal. Being mentally and physically prepared for this challenges is highly important; but equally important is that you have your team completely with the right guide who will manage the day to day execution of this challenge with you. I was so impressed with Basu’s efficient tenacity to execute so many moving parts of such an expedition. From effectively communicating with the team, managing time, coordinating accommodations and pivoting to make adjustments as needed according to our needs and requests if possible. His depth of knowledge about the mountain, terrain, landscape, services and community served not only to guide us through our adventure, but to provide options when possible ensuring we had the ability to make decisions and make adjustments when we needed. In addition, Basu checked with each of the 5 team members on a daily basis and throughout the day, to ensure we were doing well, encouraged us, and answered any questions we had including being honest when it was a matter out of his control. He always made sure each of us ate before he would go have his meals, and briefed us every evening on the following day’s itinerary including advising what to wear, take in our day bag, amount of water to have, and mentioning rest/lunch points scheduled along the way. On the EBC “summit” day, Basu arranged for a couple of porters to accompany our team from Gorakshep to base camp, and patiently supported the team on achieving individual success by each reaching and setting foot on the EBC landmark rock! I honestly believe his guidance, support, and professionalism were key ingredients needed for a successful achievement, and added to the unforgettable journey I experienced. I have so much respect for the hard work Basu puts into to ensure to the best of his ability that each of his customers/adventurers are kept safe and reach their personal goals, I am grateful Subash matched him, Akash, Arjun and Peshal to be part of our team. A gentle reminder to always treat your added team with respect, work in collaboration with your guide to have a higher success rate and solution to challenges, and be wise to assess there are situations that are out of everyone’s control where Mother Nature will have the last word, and you guide will always do their best and what is safe for you and the team.

The most memorable experience with my guideBasu - To reach the summit to EBC ! With the help of my guide ( Basu) the most helpful, patient and his excellent support. He provided me with the porter to carry my back pack and I would not have done it without this help . I will never forget how he made it happened and I finally fulfilled my long time dreams . I would recommend to everyone to go through this exciting Nepal and you will not be disappointed. I am totally 100% satisfied! Basu is like my own son !!

Amazing trek through Sagarmatha National Park - Although our route changed due to bad weather (unusual for this time of year) we had an absolute blast on this trek. Massive thanks to Suman Lama, our wonderful guide, and our porters Dil and Saras. The crew absolutely made our trek as amazing as it was. Although the porters can carry a lot of weight, we decided to hire one each because we didn’t want to overload them. They often work under such difficult conditions already. Highly recommend this trek and make sure you ask for the team we mentioned above.

Outstanding experience - The organisation of our trek to Gokyo and then EBC was brilliant. Timely updates, clear communications and advice provided throughout. We encountered an emergency in a very remote location and the team jumped into gear to arrange an extraction. I can’t recommend this company highly enough. We had a great trek, stayed in great accommodation, had a great guide and porter and were always flexible with regards to all aspects of the trek. Will be back to Nepal trekking again someday soon and will be going with Exciting Nepal Treks.

Mt. Everest Base Camp Trek 25' - Also in the low season absolutely worthwhile! Fewer people on the trails, quiet lodges and a clear view of the mountains have made the trip special. The organization was great, and the guide was very experienced, friendly and knew many locals along the route. This was well coordinated with the low season, with enough time to acclimatize.

Very worthwhile trip ! - I did this tour with my sister. It was very impressive and beautiful ! Also a bit exhausting, but very worthwhile ! Despite the Monzun period, we had incredibly good weather and our guide Basu was always on hand and supported us with all matters.

Arranged everything with great details and still managed to complete the trek despite one day of delay due to weather at Lukla. The adventure of our lives - We did the EBC + Island Peak and it was the adventure of our lives. Our guide was Ram Tamang and he was fantastic, took care of everything and was very mindful of our needs and safety.
