The Poon Hill Sunrise Trek, also referred to as the Annapurna Sunrise Trek or simply the Poon Hill Trek, showcases breathtaking mountain landscapes, charming villages embedded in dense forests of rhododendron teeming with birds and deep valleys located in the subtropical region, all against the backdrop of the majestic Annapurnas and the scenic peak of Machhapuchhare (Fishtail). One of the significant features of this sojourn is the ascent to Poon Hill to witness the enchanting sunrise over the Annapurna Range. As the sun rises, it gently kisses the snow-capped peaks of Dhaulagiri (8,167m), Annapurna (8,091m), Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), among other mountain peaks.
