Journey from Kathmandu to Pokhara
Pokhara - Early in the morning, you will be taken to the bus station to begin the journey to Pokhara. During the trip, enjoy the scenic views of the Trishuli River, lush forests, and local areas. Upon reaching Pokhara, you will be transferred to your hotel.
Drive to Naya Pul (1070m) and Trek from Naya Pul to Tikhe Dhunga (1540m)
Naya Pul - This marks the first day of the trek. A drive to Naya Pul via Pokhara takes about 2 hours. Upon arrival at Naya Pul, the trek begins along the south bank of the Modi River leading to Birethanti. The trail continues to Bhurungdi Khola, Sudame, passing Lamdawali and Hile. Along the way, enjoy waterfalls and the beauty of nature. The trek to Tikhe Dhunga takes about 2 hours, where you will spend the night in a lodge.
Trek from Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani (2750m)
Ghorepani - After breakfast in Tikhe Dhunga, the trail ascends through a long uphill path with over 3000 stone steps, reaching Ulleri. Passing through Banthani and Nangge Thanti amidst Rhododendron and Oak forests, the destination, Ghorepani, is reached after a 5 to 6-hour walk. Ghorepani is the gateway to Poon Hill, offering the best sunrise views, and you will stay overnight in a lodge here.
Climb to Poon Hill (3210m) for Sunrise View & Trek to Tadapani (2590m)
Tadapani - An early start allows for witnessing the first sun rays on the mountains. The climb to Poon Hill (3210m) offers a stunning sunrise view, followed by a rest in Ghorepani. The trek resumes eastward, passing Deurali Pass and Ban Thanti, through rhododendron forests leading to Thulo Odar. A steep descent with a short climb brings you to Tadapani, where you will spend the night in a lodge.
Trek from Tadapani to Chhomrong Village (2170m)
Chhomrong - The next morning, the trek continues through rhododendron forests to a suspension bridge, passing terraced fields and beautiful waterfalls. Crossing the suspension bridge over Kimrong River, the trail ascends and descends across Taulung, reaching Chhomrong, a picturesque Gurung village nestled at the base of the Annapurna massif. Overnight stay is in a lodge here.
Trek from Chhomrong to Dovan (2505m)
Bamboo - From Chhomrong, the trail ascends to Sinuwa and continues to Bamboo, an easy walk to Kuldhigar. The path includes a long steep stone staircase leading to Dovan, where a suspension bridge is crossed. The trail is surrounded by Rhododendron, Bamboo, and Oak forests.
Trek from Dovan to MBC (Machhapuchhre Base Camp/3700m), ABC (Annapurna Base Camp/4130m)
Annapurna Region - Continuing from Dovan, the trail leads to Deurali through Himalaya and Hinku Cave, reaching Modi Khola and Bagar. The challenging path leads to Machhapuchhre Base Camp (3,700m), where a rest and exploration of the area offer views of stunning mountains. The trail then continues to Annapurna Base Camp.
Trek from ABC to Bamboo
Annapurna Region - After enjoying the grandeur of Annapurna Base Camp, the return journey follows the same trail down to Bagar, Deurali, and then to Dovan. The destination is Bamboo, passing temples, beautiful waterfalls, caves, and forests of rhododendron, bamboo, and oak. Overnight stay is in a lodge here.
Trek from Bamboo to Jhinudanda Hot Spring (1780m)
Jhinu Danda - The next morning, the trail ascends to Kuldighar, passing Sinuwa and reaching Chhomrong. A steep descent leads to Jhinudanda, where a short 15 to 20-minute walk takes you to the hot spring bathing pool for relaxation. Overnight stay is here.
Trek from Jhinudanda to Nayapul and Return to Pokhara
Pokhara - The following day, the trek continues through Pathana, exploring whitewashed stone houses and temples, with views of Annapurna South and Hiun Chuli. After the walk, Nayapul is reached, followed by a drive back to Pokhara.
