Fantastic. Well worth the effort! - The guide James was super friendly and the pick up from the hotel was on time. The walk up to the Buddha was difficult, very steep, but James took this into account and was very accommodating of me - the slow and unfit one in the group! We stopped many times and he talked about Thai plants and pointed interesting things out to us. It was very hot but we made it to the top and stopped at a lovely cafe for coconut or watermelon juice. At the Buddha, James was very knowledgeable of Buddhism and let us explore on our own. They also provided lots of water and cold wipes! We stopped off at the temple where he showed us how to make a blessing. We didn’t stay for the food - we had to get back to our sick son - but James arranged for us to be taken back to our hotel straight away. Nothing was too much trouble. This was a great experience - really very hot, so be prepared. I am not very fit, I struggled a bit, but I would definitely recommend. James was superb.

Worth it - The trek was a steep concrete path which is not difficult in itself, the difficulty was mainly in the temperature. Our guide James Bond tried to take everyone into account (the faster as well as the slower hikers). He also took us to the big Buddha and the temple where he gave us sufficient explanation but also the time to look at everything calmly. We finished with a nice meal.

10/10 - Our tour guide “James Bond” was awesome! Super friendly and knowledgeable teaching us about local plants and temples. Stopped by a cute cafe to get fresh coconut and watermelon. Walked us through how to make a wish at the temple. Lunch was DELICIOUS, very accommodating to my vegetarian diet. Coconut ice cream with honey on top, 5 stars! Thank you for an amazing experience!🙏
