Great Guide and Beautiful Views - What a great tour in Bali! Adi was by far one of the one most informative guides we have had in Bali. We had such a great time and learned so much about life in Bali. He was very forthcoming and knowledgeable about everything. He loved cracking a joke too which made it a very fun time. The views were incredible and we loved trying local fruit and vegetables. I would recommend this to anyone visiting Bali to really get a look at the local way of life.

Fantastic experience - Such a interesting tour and nice to get a perspective of how Balinese Agriculture works. Our guide brought along his two teen nephews who were fantastic with our kids (11, 8 and 6), entertaining them by making necklaces from plants as we walked along and showing them games they played with local items from their childhood. There is abit of walking obviously, so I wouldn’t recommend if you have little kids who are not up to walking about 3km.

Unforgettable experience! - I had an unforgettable trek through the rice fields in Sidemen—lush green landscapes, peaceful surroundings, and a true taste of Bali’s natural beauty. Huge thanks to our amazing guide, who went above and beyond to look after us and share local stories and hidden gems along the way. And yes, it did rain the entire time—but let’s just say I got the “authentic tropical experience”! At least the ponchos worked... mostly. 🌧️😂 I highly recommend this adventure!

Sidemen – A Glimpse into the Authentic Heart of Bali - Sidemen – A Glimpse into the Authentic Heart of Bali During our journey through Bali, we were looking to escape the tourist crowds and discover something real – and we found it in Sidemen. This beautiful region offered us a glimpse into the authentic Bali, untouched by mass tourism, full of peace, nature, and genuine human connection. We did both a guided trek through the rice terraces and hills, as well as a bicycle tour through small villages and local temples. Both were truly unforgettable. The landscapes were breathtaking – endless rice fields, palm trees, flowing rivers, and Mount Agung watching over it all like a guardian. It felt like stepping into a different time. What made the experience so special was the interaction with the local people. We were invited into family homes, learned about traditional offerings, rice farming, and arak distillation – all in a respectful, non-commercial setting. Everyone we met was kind, open, and genuinely proud to share their way of life. Our guide was exceptional: knowledgeable, warm, and full of fascinating insights into Balinese culture, religion, and daily life. He turned every step of the walk and every pedal on the bike into a meaningful moment. Sidemen is the Bali of the past, still preserved in its purest form. If you’re looking for nature, peace, culture, and authentic connections, this is the place to go. One of the absolute highlights of our trip – 5 stars, without hesitation!

Thankyou Adi!! - We had a super nice time with our guide Adi. He showed us all beautiful places in the rice fields and knew a lot about the farmers and the different vegetables and herbs that are planted. He also taught us a lot about the culture with a joke here and there. We definitely recommend this trek!

Sidemen Trekking - The views were amazing but my guide was even better! He answered all the questions I had and I felt like I learnt so much about life in Sidemen and Indonesia as well. Would highly recommend you book with this company!

Fascinating walk for the able bodied - A very interesting walk with Dayum as our informative guide. Lots of plant identification and stories about local events particularly the eruption of Mt Agung in the 1960s. Lovely group of six other European visitors. Unfortunately the walk along the very narrow waterways was very difficult for me with my weak right knee despite Dayum's help and support. At times the path was so slippery or degraded there was a real risk of falling onto the rocks below. I am 69 so maybe out of the walk demographic. The day before I completed the local Pucak Luah Santi walk without a problem.

Great experience! - Highlight was the walking challenge of balancing on the irrigation system and our absolutely wonderful Guide Dayum, very knowledgeable about the plantations and the villages. We were in a group of 5, two in our 30s, and a family in their late 50s and teenager. Small slips along the way but all manageable even with a burst of rain on our trek.
