Begin your trek at the traditional market and village of Sidemen, then ascend to the rice paddy fields, which have no defined steps. Head towards Mount Agung, following the irrigation path of the water source, and cross the hanging wooden bridge, suitable for both motorbikes and pedestrians.
As you trek, pass through the village and temple where local villagers come to pray. The journey involves ascending and descending streets, then walking through rice fields along the irrigation channels. Observe the locals working in their fields, engaging in activities such as plowing, cultivating, planting seeds, and harvesting.
The Sidemen Trekking tour is ideal for those eager to experience a diverse mix of plantations, people, and the everyday life of the local community.

- Finish Point: The trek ends at Warung Ume Anyar Restaurant,located in Ogang Village–a recommended Great spot to relax and have a drink or meal after trekking
- Pick-up After the Trek: We recommend arranging your transport in advance so your journey home is smooth and easy. If you have a driver, kindly ask them to pick you up at the finish point around 2 hours after the trek starts.
- Optional Market Visit: Pasar Sidemen (traditional market) is open from 5:00 AM to 10:00 AM. If you’d like to explore the market before trekking, we recommend booking a morning session

Walk in the rice paddies - Walking through the rice paddies with ADI, a true local, was brilliant. He explained the agriculture, the people, the problems and was very funny 🤣

Super informative talk in dream setting - The tour was super nice, great insights into Balinese culture and also especially the one in Sidemen get. Our guide was super entertaining and by no means tiresome.
The tour may not have been quite easy but rather advanced.
Definitely a must in Sidemen.

A day trek in Sideman - I enjoyed my Sideman walking tour very much through the Sideman rice fields and village. For those considering this experience, note that much of the walk through the rice fields is on an elevated and sometimes narrow path that at times is eroded on the sides. The trek was easy and flat, but If balance is difficult for you then you may want to reconsider this option.

Well run tour operation - With two guides and a limit of 12 takers, this tour offers flexibility in variable weather conditions. One of the guides assigned himself to us, an older couple, to make sure we stayed safe during a rainy period. We appreciated this care and were able to engage in wide ranging discussions on a number of topics. This was as enjoyable as the tour itself.

Excellent!! - The tour is amazing and Adidas makes It interesting and fun. The tour allows for visiting the rice fields from another perspective Since the trails are not easy to spot. Really recommend It!!

Amazing cultural experience - Amazing beautiful trekking experience through rice terraces, small villages. Our guide shared so much on Bali culture, rice growing, we also visited markets and tasted local fruit, he was also very funny and caring.

Local experienced guide and funny! - Walking thru the rice paddies with Adidas is a cool experience. He explains a lot, talks with experience and his heart. He’s also funny and makes jokes. It was a real pleasure to do this almost 4 km walk and 2h with him.

To do!! - Great experience. Few tourists for now while we made this little trek in August. The guide put us at ease, gave us information about plants and crops. The landscapes are magnificent.
Well anticipate transport and traffic jams depending on your departure city, we were late due to traffic but another guide waited for us to make the trek, without extra cost.
