Best local expérience with cooking class - We had the best local cooking expérience with this family. First pick up at the hôtel for a market tour, where we pick all thé ingredients for curry reciepe. Then cooking class, discovering all the spices was an amazing expérience. Strongly recommmand for a local and authentic expérience of Sri Lanka !!

A must go for local food experience - We started with a nice visit of the local food market and ended up cooking in their local village. The cooking place is cosy and clean. We had an amazing experience, with a lot of insights on the cuisine. Definitely recommend

Great day out 10/10 - Fantastic tour of a local market full of incredibly colourful produce followed by an afternoon of cookery at a beautiful authentic Sri Lankan kitchen in the hills of Kandy. We were taught how to prepare myriad vegetables (including a banana flower which was new to me) and balance spices. The dishes we made ranged from a familiar Daal to a special Aubergine sweet curry. Great day out and well worth it. Cold beers and soft drinks are also available throughout which helps with the heat!

MUST DO in Kandy! 🧡 - We had such a great and lovely experience with this family! We can highly recommend booking the cooking class by AGS and enjoy a nice time. It was a lot of fun and the best food in sri lanka we ever had. It was a pleasure 🧡

Stunning Sri Lankan Cooking Experience - Such an amazing experience in a truly authentic atmosphere. The host family were fantastic and the food cooked ( I should say feast!) was the best we ve had in Sri Lanka. Such a privilege to see how it is prepared will definitely be replicating back in the UK Highly recommended.

Take this cooking class!!! So special! - This cooking class was AMAZING!!!! We called at the last minute and we were able to secure a private class for three people. Sudesh picked us up an hour later from the hotel and took us to his most gorgeous village up in the mountains. There we were greeted by Nandy, Sudesh’s mother, who was the sweetest woman and the most talented chef. Sudesh, his wife, Nandy, and all of the children of the family made us feel at home and welcomed. The array of vegetables and ingredients used was exceptional and the food turned out amazing. The experience was so much fun and we would completely recommend!!!! Please take this class! I already miss Sudesh and his family! Also, we wanted to see a cultural dance show after the class and had planned to pay 3500 rupees to go to the Kandy Lake Club. Sudesh suggested we attend a super similar show in his village which was only 2000 rupees. He drove us to the show and waited for us to finish the show so he could drive us back to the hotel. Anyway, we loved this experience!!

DELICIOUS and so much fun - This was the absolute best experience, so happy we did it! The class is in a local village at their beautiful clay kitchen with the family. The food you make is incredible! They teach you educational details like how to make coconut milk as well. You eat a true feast with such fresh vegetables and they are the perfect level of encouraging and helpful. Can highly highly recommend, made our Kandy day exceptional!

An incredible experience! - I highly recommend this experience. It was so authentic and memorable. My husband and I had the best curry we’ve ever eaten and the most food we’ve ever eaten too! Being at a magical location in the rainforest and in an older kitchen made it super special. The ladies running the class are beautiful humans who were so patient and caring. We had a lot of laughs and fun too. It was such good value for money and one of our favourite experiences on the trip.

Must do cooking class in Kandy - This is the perfect activity for a group while you're visiting Kandy. An authentic Sri Lankan cooking experience with wonderful hosts. The food was amazing and I can't wait to try out my new recipes!
