Amazing cooking class! Highly recommend - Best cooking class I’ve been to! I was lucky enough to be the only person booked in on the evening I went, which meant I got the full experience. The hosts collected me from my hotel in Kandy and first took me to the local market where we bought some fresh ingredients, before a short drive to their home stay. The market was super fun and it was great to see. The whole experience in the kitchen was amazing and I learned so much about Sri Lankan cooking. The food was absolutely delicious and I would definitely recommend this to everyone, including solo travellers!! The hosts were so kind and made me feel very welcome especially as I was by myself. Worth noting that a drop off ride is not included in the price so be sure to bring some extra cash with you :)

Authentic Sri Lankan cooking experience - The Sri Lanka Cooking Class was an absolute highlight! Everything was superbly organized, and getting started with an interesting walk through the marketplace was great. We were allowed to taste fresh fruit and learn about typical ingredients, which greatly enriched the experience. While cooking, we learned a lot about Sri Lankan cuisine – from spices to traditional preparation methods. The warm hospitality of the nice family has rounded off the whole experience perfectly. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to experience authentic Sri Lankan cuisine first hand!

Amazing experience with best people in Kandy - I highly recommend this experience. First of all they pick you up at your place. Secondly, they welcome you with some tea in the beautiful peaceful garden of theirs. And then the cooking class is just amazing: we had so much fun with these beautiful kind welcoming ladies, and the food is simply delicious. They will explain everything and you will be able to help them learning step by step how to prepare the best Sri lankan food. You can ask for cooking vegetarian and vegan options as well. The view from the open space kitchen is a stunning plus.

Best Cooking Class in Kandy - Best experience in Kandy! The cooking class with Nandi feels like being with your grandmother, and the lessons are very thorough. The best experience! - The best experience for Christmas 🎄. The family is wonderful, the place amazing and the cook, who is the mother of the owner, is a wonderful Chef, teaches you to cook everything, explains it in English and then you can eat everything you want! Everything is natural, even coconut milk we cook!!!!
