Fantastic experience - The day was wonderful. One of the best days since I am in Sri Lanka. Pradeep was a super guide. We saw a lot of interesting and beautiful places and I enjoyed every part of the trip. The hike on the top of the Sigiriya was absolutely amazing. We did a cooking class and after that we ate all together a delicious lunch. The lady was very friendly and the lunch was so good. At the end they managed to bring us at our hotel and they were so kind not leaving us on the meeting point late. Thank you Pradeep for the amazing day. Will never forget it.

Good times in Sigiriya - We visited Dambulla, Sigiriya with inbetween stops like Herbal Garden. We had a great time together with 2 other tourist, that was a small group so we could take our time. The tourist guide and the driver were really friendly and helpful. They told us everytime advices and information about the places. Because of the time pressure, we have choosen to take the Village tour instead of the Safari (because in this safari you only can see elepthants). One of our favourite acitivity was the traditional cooking in Sigiriya Village tour. The srilankan lady was so nice and offer us to try everything. You need to try it!! :) The other thing: the Sigiriy Lion Rock 😍 We arrived there around 15:00 and it was full with local people due to the Perahera festival, the queue took 45 min from the Lion’s feet to get to the top, but it worth. :) What was not really good: we would have skipped the bull(ox) cart during the Village tour. The animals were tired and was unnecessery (maybe this can amuse other tourists).

Highly recommended! - Very friendly and helpful driver/guide. A lot to do and to see. Better be in form for Sigiyria: 1200 steps. Great view and historically interesting tour. Saw a lot of elephants on the Jeep Safari to the NP. Tour highly recommended!

Day trip Kandy to Sigiriya and Safari - Shantha was our guide and he was great! His service was exceptional, he gave us lots of information and looked after all our needs. The climb at the rock was hard work but well worth the effort and the safari was amazing. It was a long day but well worth it, if you need to be back by a certain time let your guide know at the start because if they’re anything like Shantha, they will pack in as many experiences as possible for you.

Very nice tour - It was an incredibly beautiful tour and is definitely worth recommending. I would be happy to do it again anytime. The spice garden was lovingly arranged, the Lion Rock was incredibly beautiful. Luckily, we were able to see baby elephants on safari. So it's definitely worth a tour.

The best and most trustworthy guides, drivers and experiences! - We booked this tour before our trip to Sri Lanka and they got in touch with us immediately on WhatsApp. The pick up was just on time and the tour is exactly as explained. We were a group of 4 and there was 1 other person, so it felt like a private tour. After this tour, We arranged all our travels in Sri Lanka thru Mahaweli tours. They reply very fast and arrange everything within an hour. I especially want to thank Geesara our main tour coordinator. Even it wasn’t about the tours and drives Geesara answered all of our questions about anything :) I also want to Nilanka for his guidance thru this tour and thank Pathum, the best and most trustworthy driver we could ever ask for in Sri Lanka.

Good value group tour but did not fully match tour description - The driver Lahiru was very good and friendly and he arrived promptly at 7am. However we did not get a certified guide as stated in description "This is a guided tour where a staff member (a certified guide) will be explaining the activities/places in detail" We did not visit a Sigiriya village and did not get lunch served. There was not much time so adults would not have minded about food. But there was a little girl in our group and she would have got very hungry so we had to stop on the way back for dinner. We finally found a suitable place where it took an hour to make food for the little girl and she had to eat in the vehicle. Thankfully others did not order food or it would have taken longer. We eventually arrived back at Kandy at 10pm. So it was a long 15hrs. I enjoyed the self-guided walk at Dambulla caves and Sirigaya rock. Spice garden and Safari was good. I think the operator should review and update their description of the group tour if they are not providing certain items such as certified guide, Sirigaya village visit and lunch. Also the driver should be informed that safari is to Miniriya not to Eco Park as he was suggesting. The price of safari is misquoted. In tour description it says US$35 but the minimum price is actually US$57 for 3+ persons.

Cannot recommend this tour to anyone - That was the worst day in Sri Lanka. First of all, almost everything in the tour description is incorrect. For example, tour duration, the time we can spend in each spot (much shorter than described in the itinerary and it was too short for climbing up and down hill and rock), entrance fee (actual price for safari was almost double the price in the itinerary) and so on. Plus, break or lunch time is not considered at all in this tour. You have to climb up and down hill and rock, which is really hard, without having break, without eating anything. I think the operator should reconsider the itinerary itself. The driver did not seem to have the intention to control the schedule and to be fair. This tour is a group tour. Not a private tour. I believe it is important for group tour guides to stick to the itinerary, control time, be fair to everyone in the tour, and be clear on everything such as meeting time and place. The driver always tried to be flexible to a specific family in the tour, deciding changes based on their requests without having consent of someone like me, the driver thought as "no need to care". And this caused the delay in everything, resulted in arriving at Kandy at 10:30pm. The tour duration was supposed to be up to 11 hours, but actually the tour was started at 7:00am and ended at 10:30pm. Again, this is a group tour, not a private tour. Plus, the driver always set the meeting spot which is not the dropoff spot, and did not tell me the meeting time unless asking. Other group tour guides usually show the exact meeting spot when dropping off tour members and tell the exact meeting time without asking. In thir way, delays can be prevented.
