Not to be missed!!! - Best 3 hours spent in Kandy!! First went food shopping in the local market to collect fresh ingredients for the elaborate 11 course meal (yes, you do prepare it in 2.5 hours!) and then headed out to the village, a short distance from Kandy accompanied by the organiser in his lovely Tuk Tuk. Upon arriving, we were are greeted warmly in the most charming, authentic open kitchen. All is set out and prepared. And the highlight is the Mama Chef herself. A small lady full of life, humour and generosity who you would just love to hug 😊 she explained all the spices, ingredients, and traditional cooking methods. And then we all washed, grated, chopped, stirred and ladled, until we had our buffet of 11 traditional dishes impeccably lined up for our sit down meal. As my husband was back at the hotel, she insisted on preparing a take away box for him for his dinner. Met lovely people, learned basics of Sri Lankan cooking and left full of heartfelt thanks to this beautiful family for these precious moments.

Amazing cooking class - This was the best experience I had in sri lanka. The friendliest people with the most incredible meal. We learnt all about the spices and food we used. Would recommend to anyone and would love to do it again!

Amazing authentic experience - We absolutely loved our time at this cooking class. It felt like a proper local & authentic experience. We made some amazing dishes and it was the perfect balance of watching and getting stuck in ourselves. The food was delicious and the ingredients were so fresh. Great cooking class - Very fun tour, from the market to our plate! We went to the local market in Kandy to do groceries, after that we made our own currries, chicken and rice.

Delicious, fun and educational! - We had a great private experience with Nandiy in her outdoor kitchen. She explained us everything about authentic cuisine in fragrances colors, and made us laugh with fun jokes. It was delicious, fun and educational. Thank you so much!

Lovely family and food - Amazing and fun coaching class with the family. They are gently and friendly with lots of patients with us. We learned a lot about spices and different ways how to use spices in the different dishes. We loved it.

Best cooking class! - The cooking class was absolutely amazing! We met Sudesh who was so kind and thouthfull! His mom was the one who did the cooking class. We all got to participate en ask a lot of questions. The food was delicious! And there were so many different dishes we got te prepare. This was not all. We got to know Sudesh a little bit en he then offered to drive is from Kandy tot Nuwara Eliya and show is around. Is was really good, we got to see so many beautiful sights! It was just the best experience!

Great cooking class! - This was a great experience, we made 8-10 different dishes and left so full we could barely move. Highly recommend doing the earlier class (9:00am) to have a big lunch by (13:00).
