The horrors of conflict are most vividly conveyed through personal observation at historical locations. Kanchanaburi stands as a locale where numerous remnants are still evident to this day. It offers an entire day’s exploration of the history that brought the River Kwai global recognition.

History of Kanchanburi - We did our own tour, reading ahead of time and as we walked across the bridge. The area is beautiful and has
a dark history that is definitely worth researching about ahead of time.
