Insightful and fun tour of Kanazawa artisans - We had a really great time w/ Sachiko in Kanazawa. We did the full day artisan tour and were just expecting to go to see the two masters but Sachiko also showed us around the geisha and samurai quarters before our first visit, which was really nice. We learned a lot just walking around with her.
We visited an umbrella master and a kimono master who hand paints silk . Both were really enjoyable experiences--we learned a lot and saw how much effort and skill goes into these products. Everything they make is so beautiful and amazing. You develop a high appreciation when you see how much dedication these crafts require. Sachiko had relationships with the masters and facilitated a really nice time. She speaks English well and translated clearly. She also took great pictures throughout and sent them to us afterward--we got to just enjoy everything and still have great memories to look back on..
Overall, we spent the whole day with Sachiko and found her to be really pleasant and easy to be around. It was a lot of fun to just talk to her about her life in Japan and get to know her better.

Kanazawa rest and relax with Sachigo - Sachigo pick us up at the hotel and embarked us with a beautiful gold lacquer painting workshop with a local master.
After a great morning, we went to the beautiful garden and have tea in of the lovely tea house to warm ourselves along the way.
Lunch was opposite the castle which was awesome and relax .
We love the samurai area visit as well which was beautiful with a garden within the house.
Overall, well organised.

Highly recommend - Our guide, Karolina was incredible. Extremely knowledgeable, great personality and went at our pace. We never felt rushed and got to see so much. Make sure you bring some cash for transport as it rains a lot, there is also a couple of entry fees if you want to get the full experience (1100Â¥ and 1000Â¥ for two people)

Perfect day in Kanazawa with Jorge - We had such an amazing day with our guide Jorge. It felt like we covered the whole of Kanazawa. All manageable by foot. He took us to hidden gems where there were no other tourists. We explored the most beautiful gardens, visited the markets and shopping areas also enjoyed a lovely lunch. Jorge was a wealth of knowledge and managed to tailor our tour to exactly what we wanted. He guided us perfectly so we knew exactly where we were going and he always checked in with us to make sure we were getting what we wanted from our tour. Jorge is an exceptional tour guide who our group would highly recommend.

Kanazawa Walking Tour plus Artisan Workshop and Ohi Museum - Fantastic day tour with Sachiko Nakai who was a perfect guide, personable, and informative who ensured we got the best out of our first day in Kanazawa. Lunch stop was fab noodles and jazz records plus our visit to the Geisha House was timed to avoid the crowds. Our time spent with Artisan Masters in the afternoon and Ohi Museum where we were accompanied by Ohi Chozaemon was a highlight of our visit to Japan. A nice touch afterwards was the photos she sent to remind us of our day. We highly recommend her!

Fantastic day in Kanazawa - We spent an amazing day with Karolina Yoshioka, who made Kanazawa shine even in the cold pouring rain! It was fantastic to hear her observations and insights living in the city as an expatriate—she has both a deep knowledge of the city and its unique history as well as a willingness to answer questions about day to day current life. She thoughtfully assessed our interests and was incredibly flexible throughout the day. Spending most of it on foot enabled us to enjoy some serendipitous moments and some unexpected snacks. She knew distances and times required and managed to cover all our priorities within our scheduled time. We really enjoyed meeting her and recommend her highly as a guide to this charming place—just be sure to bring your umbrella (a hat and gloves also helped with the chilly weather!), as well as comfortable walking shoes!

Great Kanazawa Guide - We had a great couple of days in Kanazawa thanks to Kanazawa Walking Tours and our guide Sachiko. Sachiko organized our days so we saw all the highlights of the city our first day and then visited with two artisans and saw their crafts on the second. Sachiko was very fun to spend time with and tried to ensure that we did everything we requested. In addition she picked out a great lunch spot which she knew was a priority! We would highly recommend her as she is knowledgeable , pleasant to be with and worked hard to make sure we had a great stay in Kanazawa !!

Excellent Guide for Kanazawa All-Day Walking Tour - My family and I had the pleasure of going on an all-day walking tour of Kanazawa with an excellent tour guide, Karolina Yoshioka. She was extremely knowledgeable and knew so much about the history and culture of Kanazawa. While there is so much to cover in a day, Carolina was very organized engaging and knew exactly how cover so many sites, all within a day. She is very personable and speaks beautiful English (which is something we needed since we don't know the Japanese language). Carolina really cares about wanting to ensure that the hotel room is the best they could. I highly recommend Carolina as your tour guide!

An Array of Amazing Experiences in Kanazawa :) - My wife and I had the most delightful experience touring Kanazawa with Nozomi-san. She has a wealth of knowledge, she's extremely kind, and she's so passionate about her job! Her positive energy is infectious as is her love for Kanazawa. Our time with her was a real highlight of our 3rd trip to Japan. She provided behind-the-scenes access to a side of Kanazawa we never would have been able to enjoy without her. Thank you, Nozomi-san!
