We managed to get a last minute booking for the Wine, Olive oil and Honey tour and honestly had one of the most amazing experiences. Vasili was extremely knowledgeable and answered every question we had. We got to explore how Olive oil is made, tend to his Bee hives and explore his family vineyard where we learned about how to taste wines and make a Cretan Salad. All surrounded by the beautfiul back drop of Chania. We created memories that will stay with us for a long time and cannot wait to return and share the tour experience with our family and friends. Best day of our whole trip - This tour was outstanding and so personal. We were a group of 4 women and we were joined by 4 other people so a nice intimate group and by the end of the day we were all friends. This tour exceeded our expectations. We packed so much into our day. Olive Oil milking sheep making cheese honey wine wine did I mention the wine. We all helped prepare lunch which we ate in the middle of a vineyard. Vasili and Anna Maria open their home, their family and their wine barrels and welcome you in. This was the highlight trip of our 2 week trip. Highly recommend this experience.

Best Meal in Crete - Had so much fun with friends! I thought the wine was going to be the star of the show, but the food was absolutely amazing. In addition to the Cretan salad, we had dolmas, bread with cheese with the honey from on site, and pork. Definitely no shortage of food and the best meal I had in Crete. Highly recommend donating to the bees and bringing home the heather and cardamom honey and thyme honey. Wish I got more while I was there.

A Great Day with the Winemaker!! - Our favorite excursion on our 13 day trip!! Vasili picked us up on time right where he said he would. We learned so much about the area, the people of Crete, the growth and processing of olives, the process of bee keeping, how to discover the right language to use to order the wine you like...and then there was the lovely meal we helped to make in the middle of the vineyard! Amazing day...amazing excursion. Shout out to Anna Maria who quickly answered my texts to help the day go smoothly! Thanks Vasili for giving us a day we will never forget! HIghly recommend this tour!!

Wonderful experience! - What a fun and unique experience! From getting to see an olive oil production facility, bee keeping, and having a truly “family style” Greek wine tasting experience and lunch this was one of our favorite things we did during our entire trip to Greece! Vasili is super knowledgeable about the area and had lots of fun facts to share as well, he also made us feel like we were friends coming over to visit his family’s home rather than a tour group. I would recommend this tour and company to anyone I know traveling to Greece!

A fabulous day out in Chania - A fabulous way to spend the day, really interesting and enjoyable,learning about the making of high quality olive oil, seeing honey bees producing honey and experiencing wine tasting of delicious wines made locally by our engaging host Vasili. We also enjoyed a very tasty lunch in the vineyard. Absolutely loved it and would highly recommend the tour.

I have read and heard of wines with various characteristics and could never get how people could taste blackberry or the acidity of wine until our tour. He also mixed in just enough history of the area to enhance the experience.

Best personalized experience in Chania! - Vasili and Anna Maria were very gracious on our tour. After airport delays, Vasili picked us up and showed us around Chania. The olive co-op tour and tasting was exceptional! We really enjoyed the honey bees, artisan lunch and hand crafted wine at the family vineyard. He shared the some area history and personal anecdotes. We really enjoyed the whole day. We were especially pleased that we were able to stop and pick up an extra bag for all the goodies we brought back from the excursion. I highly recommend this trip!

Fun, educational and yummy! - We had a wonderful day with Vasili. It was educational and fun. We toured a local oil mill and then drove to Vasili’s family farm where we sampled wine and honey after inspecting his bees. The experience was capped by us helping make a truly Cretan salad complemented with Vasili’s wine and local cheeses, olives, etc. Highly recommend!
