The mosque welcomes everyone, regardless of creed, political affiliation, ethnic background, culture, or nationality. Upon entering the main hall, visitors can admire its architectural designs. Climbing the tower or minaret offers a spectacular 360-degree view of Kampala City and its original seven hills. The mosque also stands on the historic site where the British first raised their flag, marking Uganda as a British colony.

Kabaka’s Palace - At the core of Buganda’s cultural and political life is the Lubiri—the Kabaka’s Palace. More than just a royal residence, Lubiri symbolizes unity, tradition, and sovereignty. Kasubi Tombs - Situated on Kasubi Hill in Kampala, Uganda, the Kasubi Tombs are among the most revered and spiritually significant sites in the Kingdom of Buganda. To the untrained eye, it may seem like a quiet, thatched enclosure with an impressive round hut at its center. However, for the Baganda people and cultural historians, it is the final resting place of the prominent kings of Buganda. The site serves as both a burial ground for four Kabakas (kings) and a spiritual hub where the past and present converge. Baganda subjects visit to seek blessings, perform rituals, and reflect on their ancestry. Visitors are offered a guided tour through these royal tombs and shrine to experience the authentic cultural practices of the Buganda kingdom. Photography and videography are welcome.
