A Deep, Meaningful Walk Through Kampala’s Heart - Taking a women-guided walking tour through Kampala with Sarah was one of the most eye-opening parts of my trip. She shared thoughtful insights, local stories, and cultural gems I would’ve missed on my own. It wasn’t just a tour it was a true connection to the people, history, and rhythm of the city. As a woman traveling solo, I appreciated the safe, welcoming atmosphere and the confidence Sarah brought to every stop. Highly recommend for women seeking authentic, grounded travel experiences.

Big thumbs up - Highly recommended especially for the solo woman traveler. Making a reservation was easy and the company connected me with a great driver Musah who in turn took me to Sarah to start our tour at the national mosque and then to the tombs and palace. Sarah was so kind and knowledgeable. I learned more about about Uganda in 4 hours than I could have learned from a book. Thank you!

Nice walk around a busy Kampala - Kampala is a busy city so the best way to see some of the center sites is with a walking tour. We enjoyed our Lite walking tour with Zaynab through the independence and WW monuments aswell as the temple and three varied markets. The markets are mental so our guide was helpful in finding places for us to take photos safely and ensuring we minded our possessions. She also helped with a Boda once we finished to take us out of the busy center. Well worth taking a walking tour to see the sights and hear the history and stories.

Good exercise. Unusual site seeing. - It was a good walking tour to see daily life in Kampala. Walking through downtown isn’t for the faint of heart. The traffic is heavy and unpredictable. The daily market and taxi stand are crowded, so if needing personal space is necessary, this tour might not be for you. I did not go to the mosque—the ticket was not included, and I had done the day prior. Water was not offered, and any snacks or food from vendors you would need to pay for. We did not do the Gorilla stop. The ride to be picked up was not available on the day I booked, but it is easy to use Uber around Kampala to get to your starting point.
