Best place for beginner and experienced kiters - We spent 6 days in this little paradise. De Silva kite school is very professional, the lagoon is perfect for beginner kiters and Safris, the instructor, is just amazing ! He was previously a champion and he gives very precise advises which enable us to improve very quickly. We felt very safe is the lagoon which is not overcrowded. The environment is very friendly, good material, amazing staff. The resort is on the lagoon (no car needed to join the kite training area), it is a great advantage. We highly recommend this place for beginner and experienced kiters

Top place to learn kitesurfing - nice athmosphere, great people and good food perfect place to learn kitesurfing! water is nice and warm and it's safe in the laggon! instructures are professional und friendly! we enjoyed it a lot!

Best kite school & best accommodation - We love to come here again and again, the whole crew is very professional! Every time there are innovations and from time to time both resorts become more and more beautiful. The new restaurant also offers pizza and thuna steak! The kite material is top and the instructor team is really great!

Mr. Max - We had a fantastic time at De Silva resort with my friends. Surfing facilities are unbelievable.I never felt like a hotel guest but I felt I belongs the Resort family because of the way hotel staff treated us. All my friends also felt fantastic and we had lots of fun. Rooms are fantastic and also swimming pool facilities also very good. Special thanks to resort staff and the instructors.We had a chance to meet Mr.Upul and his lovely wife Katy.they also very humble people and friendly. Kitesurf in Sri Lanka - My 2nd visit here in Kalpitiya. De Silva windsurf resort is just right beside the lagoon, perfect for a kitesurf holiday!!! The crew and instructors here are very friendly, food is simple and great, the surf cabana accommodation is nice and comfortable. And most importantly, they got me riding, as what they say they will do!!!

A great place to kick back, kite and recharge. - The team at De Silva’s are great. Everyone from the office team lead by the wonderful Nalika to the bar, kitchen and house keeping we so courteous and friendly. Nothing seemed to much stress and so nice to see a group working together in such a calm way. Upul has done a great job and is an excellent ambassador for the region. I am an experienced kiter so did not take lessons but watching those that did they seemed to progress steadily thanks to the smiling and always happy teachers. I did a few excursions organised right from the front door. No issues and all were worth while. And nice to be able to do these solo too without having to join a group tour. If I have one tip, work on the coffee. As most Sri Lankans drink tea you can cut them a little slack on that one. Food was very good and you can also prearrange meals like fresh lobster! I was sad to leave the camp and will definitely be back, perhaps for a summer visit next time.
