Illyasi Masjid Hill - This location is breathtaking not only because of the Ilyasi Mosque’s architecture but also for the fresh water flowing directly from the mountains and the nearby market, where fresh Pakoras are served with a special chutney. Additionally, there is a path from the parking area parallel to the Mosque that leads upwards to view the specific mountainous region of Abbottabad.

Abbottabad - Shogran via Balakot

Balakot - Balakot is situated on the right bank of the Kunhar River in northern Pakistan. It is located about two-thirds of the river’s length from its source at Lake Dharam Sar deep in the Kaghan Valley before it merges with the Jehlum River. The lower area below Balakot, sometimes called Nainsukh Valley, has a temperate climate, while the Kaghan Valley above Balakot City is cold enough to freeze the entire area in winter.

Shogran - Shogran is a hill station located on a plateau in the Kaghan Valley of Mansehra District, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, northern Pakistan, at an elevation of 2,362 meters above sea level. Taxila Museum - After lunch, depart back to Abbottabad. On the way, visit the Taxila Museum. The museum is located in Taxila, Punjab, Pakistan, and houses a significant and comprehensive collection of Gandharan art dating from the 1st to the 7th centuries CE. Most items in the collection were excavated from the ancient ruins of Taxila. There are many historical sites near the museum.

Daman-e-Koh - The next stop is Daman-e-Koh, a hilltop garden north of Islamabad, located in the center of the Margalla Hills. The name is a combination of two Persian words, meaning ‘foothills.’ It is approximately 2400 feet above sea level and about 500 feet above Islamabad. The area is a popular destination for both locals and tourists.

Faisal Mosque - The Faisal Mosque, romanized as Faisal Masjid, is the national mosque of Pakistan, located in Islamabad. It is the fifth-largest mosque in the world, the largest outside the Middle East, and the largest in South Asia, situated at the foothills of the Margalla Hills in Islamabad. Named after the late King Faisal of Saudi Arabia, the mosque features a contemporary design with eight sides of a concrete shell, inspired by the design of a traditional Bedouin tent.

Lahore - Arrive in Lahore in the evening. Tourists are dropped off at their original pickup location.
