As the original and longest-standing whale watching company in Kalbarri, we have been offering whale watching tours since 1992. Kalbarri enjoys the seasonal presence of the magnificent Humpback Whale and occasionally the Southern Right Whale. These whales start their migration past Kalbarri in June each year, moving from the nutrient-rich southern ocean to the breeding grounds in the warm northern waters.

The whales are observed traveling back south around August, heading towards the colder seas to grow and mature. Following the continental shelf, they hug the coast as they journey through the warm waters of the Indian Ocean.

These magnificent creatures play, frolic, and bask in the pristine waters of Gantheaume Bay during their migration along the West Australian coastline. Each whale watching tour offers a chance to get close to these gentle giants, experiencing a unique spectacle right at Kalbarri’s doorstep.
