Beautiful experience in the heart of the unusual Meteors! - The hike through the woods and into the heart of the gigantic meteors was unique. The hidden sites and the hermit lifestyle fascinated us. Our Guide Katerina was excellent and allowed us to better know the ancient and modern way of life in this beautiful region of Greece. We recommend without hesitation!

Fantastic - The tour was fantastic, and they went ahead with it even though there were only two of us. Nikolas, our guide, was incredibly knowledgeable and shared many entertaining stories. The hike was stunning. I highly recommend staying overnight in Kalambaka and taking this tour.

Great Experience - This hiking tour was a fantastic experience! Highly recommend to others visiting the area! Experience: Seeing the monasteries on a hiking tour was a unique experience. You are treated to views that you can't see from a standard bus/driving tour. The hike was around 5-6km with some short sections of trail that were rocky or a little steep, but overall not too difficult (we had good weather but I imagine it might get a bit slippery when wet). From the initial description we expected to actually hike into some caves, but this was a bit misleading - you only get to observe the caves on the cliffside as you walk through the forest. We ended the tour at one of the monasteries, which we then passed to reach a scenic spot for sunset views over the rocks and mountains. Guide: Nikos was our great guide - he was very friendly and knowledgeable. He was able to teach us a lot about the history of Meteora as we went, pointing out key landmarks as we passed them on our hike. He was helpful in leading us along the trail and flagging any trickier sections. He also knew all the best spots for us to get photos along the way (and doubles up as a decent photographer). The tour company offered pickup from our hotel, which was useful. Overall, a great experience. If you enjoy hiking or travelling in a more active/adventurous way I would definitely recommend this over a bus tour!

Stunning views, beautiful hike and a well-informed, charming guide. - This tour exceeded our expectations with a knowledgeable local guide, beautiful trails through the mountains, and stunning scenery. It was a fabulous way to see Meteora, and extra special to view the sunset from the top of a rockface. We thoroughly recommend this tour, but be warned that it's not an easy hike, with some steep paths, and a decent amount of uphill terrain.

Great tour - George was wonderful guide and this was the best way to really get “lay of the land” to explore by ourselves the next day. Great history and information.
