Boumalne Dades - This location marks the first overnight stop before heading to the Sahara Desert the following day. Situated at the edge of a desert plateau, at the outlet of the upper Dadès Valley (over 1500 meters high), Boumalne Dades has a history rooted in transhumance, once controlled by various tribes between the High Atlas summer pastures and Saghro wintering grounds. The majority of its inhabitants, like those in the Dades Valley, are Berber people.

Agdz - Located about 65 kilometers south of Ouarzazate, Agdz, meaning “resting place” in Berber, lies along the historic caravan route connecting Marrakech to Timbuktu. It played a significant role in trade across the Sahara and is renowned for its expansive Palm Oasis.
Ouarzazate - Known as the “gateway to the Sahara,” Ouarzazate’s name means “without noise” in Berber. The city has been a filming location for many popular movies, including Gladiator, Star Wars, Game of Thrones, Kingdom of Heaven, and The Mummy series, due to its strategic location and film studios.
