Loved every fit of this cultural experience! - Thank you so much to Alfred and his kind family for letting us spend the day with you!! It was such a memorable experience and we had such a wonderful time. We made beads, milked goats, threw spears, toured the community, participated in a cultural dance, and literally learned so much! The trip is about a two hour drive from Nairobi. Shout out to our nice driver, Tim! He stopped us at a store to grab snacks and for a rest stop. He was also so knowledgeable about the Maasai community which was awesome. They also took so many photos of us, it was so nice of them to do!!!

Do it! - My guide was Mwose and he was great! You really get to see so much it's absolutely worth the time and money. Some of the Masai have adapted to certain modern things, like cell phones, but don't let that deter you from visiting. You learn so much about their lives and their history, and they are very welcoming.

Informative - Tip: wear shoes you don’t mind getting dusty. We had Tim as our tour guide, he was very knowledgeable. We stopped at the grocery for snack/food. When you get to the village you dress in traditional wear. Then learn about how men and women live. You are able to take Lots of videos and pictures. Ask all the questions you can think of they will answer.everyone was friendly and helpful.

Magical - By far the best tour I have been on. My guide Tim was wonderful, so knowledgeable the conversations kept flowing. When we arrived at the village the Maasai people were the friendliest people I have ever met. It was so surreal to experience their culture. The tour is a must.

An Amazing Experience - Our Tour Guide Mwose. He made our experience worth it. From the Airbnb pick up to the venue. Had a great time with everyone. Learnt about the tribes culture and traditions. The locals were just so friendly and nice. It’s an experience worth it and anyone that sees this should know you’re in safe hands with Mwose.

A valuable introduction to and experience of tribal life. - Nothing in the description of this experience indicated that it would involve six hours of driving and two hours with the Maasai people. I was not prepared for this and might have reconsidered the trip had I known. However, my guide, Tim, was most congenial, knowledgeable about the areas we were passing through, and a very good driver. I felt the warmth and welcome of the Maasai people we met, and I found the sharing of their traditions and way of life most interesting and informative. I was also able to view the Friday livestock market, which was a colorful experience.I was pleased to learn that the tour company donates a significant amount of the fee to the Maasai people we visited. Water was provided for me, but there was no lunch break planned. Had I not requested a stop to pick up something to eat, I would’ve had no lunch. I would recommend this tour to anyone interested in learning more about authentic tribal life, but it’s important to be aware of the travel time involved and prepared for the details of the trip.
