The Great Mosque of Kairouan - The Great Mosque stands as the emblem of Kairouan. It is among the oldest and most stunning mosques globally, and one of the most remarkable monuments in the entire Maghreb! Its religious significance elevates Kairouan to the 4th holiest city in Islam. Visitors admire its towering minaret, the grand courtyard with impressive dimensions, surrounded by beautifully designed arcades and housing a sundial, and the tall doors made of intricately carved cedar wood. These doors lead to the prayer rooms, adorned with numerous marble columns. Constructed in 670, this architectural marvel, resembling an adobe fortress, inspired other mosques in the Maghreb.
Medina of Kairouan - The medina of Kairouan is one of the most well-preserved and authentic in Tunisia, where visitors can explore the souks, savor the pastries of Kairouan “Les Mekroudhs,” and witness the artisanal carpet-making process.
Tozeur - Tozeur is the capital of the Bled El Jérid region, situated in the southwest of the country, near the Algerian border. Known for its vast palm grove, delicious dates, and the stunning architecture of its sun-baked brick houses and mosques, it is a gem of southern Tunisia. Famous for the high quality of its dates, especially the “deglet ennour” variety, known as fingers of light, with translucent and succulent flesh, Tozeur primarily thrives on its oasis economy: agriculture remains the city’s main activity. The oasis of Tozeur boasts over three million palm trees, including 400,000 in the city, and 200 springs. It is surrounded by dunes and a stone desert.
Golf Oasis Tozeur - Enjoy a horse-drawn carriage ride and a walk in the Oasis of Tozeur, included in the offer.
Chak Wak - The Chak-Wak Tozeur Museum is an entertainment and cultural park, located in the heart of Tunisia’s largest palm grove, the oasis of Tozeur.
The Chak-Wak Tozeur Museum spans five hectares, featuring fifty dinosaurs and a hundred animal, humanoid, and human figurines, mini-museums, caves, huts, all set amidst lush oasis vegetation. “Chak-Wak” aims to reconstruct the History of the Earth and Humanity according to science and various religions.

Tamerza Canyon - Tamerza, or Tameghza, is 14 kilometers north of Chebika, near the Algerian border. It was an ancient Roman and Episcopal defensive position during Byzantine times. The road to Tamerza is winding, running along a large canyon 10 km long from Chebika. Its construction dates back to World War II when Rommel, besieged by the allies, came from the North.
Decor Star Wars Tunisie - In the Tunisian desert, 14 km from Nefta and 38 km from Tozeur, George Lucas set his scene. The location is enchanting, drawing visitors from curiosity to adventure. These same sets were used for filming episodes I and II of Star Wars.
Nefta - The basket of Nefta is a crevice shaped like a basket from which 152 springs once emerged to irrigate the entire palm grove of Nefta. In the 1980s, the springs dried up one after another, leading to desolation. The same phenomenon occurred in El Hamma, Degache, and finally Tozeur.
Chott El Jerid - The Chott Djerid salt lake is the largest saline plain or sebkha in Tunisia, covering an area of approximately 5,000 km2. It is the largest sebkha in the Maghreb.
Douz - Douz is a city in southern Tunisia known as the “gateway to the Sahara,” where visitors can admire a stunning Sahara sunset and enjoy the desert with a quad ride on the sand dunes or an optional camel ride.
Matmata_amphitheater D el Jem
Casas Trogloditas de Matmata - The city of Matmata is located in southeastern Tunisia, specifically west of the city of Gabès. It is an ancient Berber village spread over the hills, blending with the rocky landscapes, offering a panoramic view from the mountain top and concealing one of Tunisia’s unique sites. The village houses are called troglodyte houses, where visitors can admire the beauty of the underground dwellings in Matmata. These are located in an underground pit resembling caves, with each pit (الحوش) taking a circular shape and consisting of a courtyard decorated with drawings and colors, along with other rooms of the house, all with smooth mud. History enthusiasts are encouraged to visit this beautiful village, attracting tourists worldwide on daily tours to discover underground life and learn about the customs and traditions of its inhabitants.
Amphitheatre of El Jem - The amphitheater of El Jem is an outstanding example of Roman architecture, particularly of monuments built for entertainment, in Africa. Situated in a plain in central Tunisia, this amphitheater, constructed entirely of cut stone, is neither dug nor leaned against a hill. It follows the model of the Colosseum in Rome without being a mere replica of the Flavian building. Its dimensions (long axis of 148 meters and short axis of 122 meters) and its capacity (estimated at 35,000 spectators) undoubtedly place it among the largest amphitheaters in the world.
