Morning Bliss: Paddle Your Way to Paradise
As the sun peeks over the horizon, casting a golden hue across the tranquil waters of Kailua, there’s no better way to start your day than with a stand-up paddleboarding adventure. On June 7th, the weather is just right for a morning session, with temperatures hovering comfortably between 74.4°F and 76.0°F. The gentle breeze, with gusts up to 12.3 mph, adds a refreshing touch to your paddleboarding experience.
Join the Kailua SUP Lesson for a morning of mastering the art of stand-up paddling. This activity kicks off at 8:45 AM, offering a perfect blend of instruction and exploration. As you glide across the serene waters towards Popo’ia “Flat Island,” you’ll be treated to a break and an island tour, complete with snacks and water. One recent review from April 2025 captures the essence of this experience:
Fun and carefree SUP in Kailua Bay - Just finished a two-hour SUP session with Tommy. Unbelievable! I’m pretty comfortable on a board but I like to have someone accompany me in open water. Not only was it carefree, but I picked up some new tips and tricks. And the two hours flew by between visiting flat island (which Tommy is an expert on in terms of the history and fauna), and just cruising Kailua Bay. I 100% recommend KBA. They make getting on the water super easy and safe. (Reviewed at: 2025-04-26)
Afternoon Adventures: Embrace the Island Vibes
As the day progresses, the partly cloudy skies provide a perfect mix of sun and shade, ideal for those looking to explore without the harshness of direct sunlight. With a high UV index of 10, don’t forget your sunscreen as you head out for an afternoon of adventure.
For those who missed the morning session, the Kailua SUP Lesson offers another opportunity to hit the water at 12:30 PM. This session runs until 5:30 PM, giving you ample time to soak in the beauty of Kailua Beach Park. The gentle waves and rolling swells make for an exciting yet manageable paddleboarding experience. One visitor from January 2025 shared their thoughts:
Great rental experience - The staff were all very kind and accommodating and were honest about the conditions on the water. It was very windy so the SUP was a tough workout, but we loved it. The package we bought included access to lots of fun things for the beach, so I used the snorkel, mask, and fins to see turtles at Lanikai. (Reviewed at: 2025-01-02)
Sunday Serenity: Discover Lanikai’s Hidden Gems
On June 8th, the weather remains pleasant, with temperatures around 75.7°F to 76.4°F. The partly cloudy skies and gentle winds create an inviting atmosphere for a morning paddleboarding tour.
