This famous Buddhist temple, dating from the 8th and 9th centuries, is located in central Java. It was built in three tiers: a pyramidal base with five concentric square terraces, the trunk of a cone with three circular platforms and, at the top, a monumental stupa. The walls and balustrades are decorated with fine low reliefs, covering a total surface area of 2,500 m2. Around the circular platforms are 72 openwork stupas, each containing a statue of the Buddha. The monument was restored with UNESCO’s help in the 1970s. Highlighting the stone reliefs and the many faces of Buddha.

Great day - The temples are beautiful and so is the ballet. We had a very good day. Dani, our driver and guide of the day, was perfect. He gave us a lot of explanations, he was always smiling and pleasant. He took us easily to the different places. Thanks to him, I recommend it to other tourists...

Awesome show showing classical story - The Ramayat ballet was awesome - it really is a spectacle and I would suggest a bit of effort is made to ensure you get good seats. Unfortunately, part of Borobudur was closed since due to a governmental visit so we couldn't go to the top but Prambanan temple area is very interesting too.

Amazing Memorable Day!! - We did our tour with Hijba!! Absolutely fantastic experience and memorable day! On time pick up and Hijba was absolutely amazing throughout! He made sure we get all the information before reaching each place! And he also made sure we get good and delicious vegetarian food! 10++ Stars for Hijba’s kindness and hospitality!
Both the temples and the Ramayana Ballet Show was great! The visit to these places are a must!

Very interesting tour with an excellent driver - The circuit is great. I thank our driver, Maxi, for his dynamism and availability. He accompanied us perfectly during the day and was attentive to our needs to adapt to our requests. Both sites are beautiful and the final show is very interesting.

Seta was great. - Our guide, Seta, was first class, Very helpful and friendly. Definitely recommended.
The reason I gave it 4 stars was because I would have liked a bit more structure, eg saying we have , 30 mins for lunch at a certain time etc. as it was I felt we could have done better with our food options/choices.
Service wise it was 5 stars due to Seta.
