Welcome to Yogyakarta through Wahyu Travel Indonesia. We provide tour services, leveraging English-speaking drivers, in Yogyakarta and nearby areas on the Island of Java. We specialise in tours to Yogyakarta featuring Borobudur, the world’s largest Buddhist temple, and Prambanan, the world’s most exquisite Hindu temple. Please note: Borobudur temple, closed for nearly three years at the close of 2019, is now open for ascending to the peak, but with a limited capacity of 150 persons per hour. Only fortunate individuals will receive a special ticket for climbing. It’s highly recommended to book your tour as early as possible. If you miss out on a Temple Structure ticket, you can still explore Borobudur temple by purchasing a Ground Temple ticket on-site. Particularly on Mondays, the main temples of Borobudur and Prambanan are closed, and visitors can only view the main temple from the grounds. Please ensure the accuracy of your WhatsApp number while booking the tour as it is vital for us.
- Due to the limitation of special ticket for climbing Borobudur (Temple Structure) 150 persons per hour, I recommend you to book the tour as earlier as possible. After I receive the notification of your booking, I’ll immediately send you the special website for buying the special ticket for climbing Borobudur (Temple Structure). So, you will have enough time for buying the special ticket (Temple Structure) before it’s sold out.
- Especially on Monday, people cannot access the main temple. People are allowed to see the main temple far away from the yard only.
- There is only one website for buying the special ticket for climbing Borobudur (Temple Structure), it is the website I will send to you after I receive your booking.
- I highly don’t recommend you to have a flight in the same day with the tour because for both temples it takes a full day tour, started in the morning from Yogyakarta city and finished in afternoon.

Borobodur Temple and Prabanam - I hired the driver service to see the temple of Borobodur and Prabanam. Wahyu contacted me on WhatsApp and resolved all my doubts quickly. The taxi driver assigned was Ahmad, very good English, helped us buy tickets, excellent and attentive person.

A fantastic tour to the temples - We had a wonderful tour to the two historic temples Borobudur and Prambanan which are definitely a must if you are in Java. Our driver Handoko was so nice and took care about us so fantastic, he fulfilled us every wish. Many thanks for that unforgettable day!!!

Great Guide - Great visit with Wahyu. He speaks very French and these explanations are very interesting. Thanks to this information before our Check-out from France, we were able to book a visit to the Borobudur temple. It adapts to our pace and showed us beautiful views of the Prambanan site.
I highly recommend visiting with him.

Extraordinary excursion with Wahyu - This excursion was extraordinary, very rewarding. Our Guide Wahyu was taking care of us. He looked for us until the last minute for a ticket for the ascent of Borobudur. He was a very good Guide for us. He taught us a lot. The Borobudur and Prambanan sites are remarkable, of incredible beauty. Not to be missed under any circumstances.
Thank you very much to Wahyu for making us have an extraordinary day. He took a lot of pictures of us. We will have very good memories.

One day tour of Prambanan and Borobudur - Thank you Whayu for organising a fantastic trip, at all times your communication was perfect right from the booking to answering all of our questions and following up afterwards.
Iskandar was the perfect driver - great English, very knowledgeable and so easy to talk to. It made the journeys go very fast with lots of laughter and great conversations.
We had no issues on the day and were even lucky enough to get a last minute cancellation for the structure tour through the hotel. We had a private tour with a great guide and felt at times like we had Borobudur to ourselves. Perfect!
At Prambanan, Iskandar suggested we use the services of the student guides. Two high school girls who were totally excellent. My son even has two new Instagram friends now!
Thank you for a wonderful trip, great experience and memories that will last a lifetime.
