• Borobudur Temple - Tour Overview
  Guests will be picked up from their hotel and taken to Borobudur Temple, the largest standalone Buddhist monument in the Southern Hemisphere. The journey will take approximately 1.5 hours. Guests will have priority access to climb to the top of Borobudur Temple.

Please note that the number of visitors allowed to climb Borobudur Temple is limited to 1,200 per day. Borobudur, located on Indonesia’s fourth largest island, is the world’s largest Buddhist temple, built in the 9th century, and is Indonesia’s most popular tourist attraction.

When the population converted to Islam in the 14th century, Borobudur was abandoned. Today, the temple is protected by UNESCO, with ongoing restoration and maintenance to preserve its beauty.

Visitors can enjoy the peaceful and spiritual ambiance that permeates every stone.

• Prambanan Temples - Spend 2 hours exploring Prambanan. Prambanan is the largest Hindu temple in Indonesia and one of the most stunning temples in Southeast Asia. According to the Siwargha inscription, the temple was built during the reign of Rakai Pikatan (mid-ninth century) of the Ancient Mataram Kingdom. Explore the three temples adorned with reliefs depicting the Ramayana epic, dedicated to the three great Hindu deities (Shiva, Vishnu, and Brahma) and three temples dedicated to the animals that serve them.
